I hemmed and hawed over whether I wanted this piece, but finally decided. I was looking for something to remind me of growing up in Chula Vista, CA back in the 60s, and this does so nicely (though it's not the Imperial Beach pier; this one is up the coast a bit). When I hung it, it filled the wall left of the pass-though over my TV. It looked unbalanced, so I swapped it with a silkscreen by a local Oklahoma artist which, because of the matting, did not fill that other side quite so much.
