The artwork itself is beautiful. It is exactly what I was expecting and the low score does not reflect on the artist’s abilities in any way. However, I found the construction of the stretcher bars for the canvas itself to be definitely lacking. The cross bar that is provided, I’m assuming, for stability on a canvas this large was stapled with a few messy staples and did not hold. Unfortunately I did not unwrap my picture immediately on receiving it other than to be sure it was visually not damaged because I was not ready to hang it. When I did go to hang it, I noticed how the cross bar was not attached. I tried to tap it back into place but the staples wouldn’t hold. It’s now held together with duct tape. I would provide a photo, but I’m afraid to take it off the wall. Not something I would expect for an item of this price. I won’t be shopping here again.
