It's hard to select art for someone else, but in this case my brother has often mentioned his admiration of Girl with a Pearl Earring but only had it in a small poster mounted in his garage. Knowing this, I purchased this 30x24 for him in a gold floating frame and he mounted it over his fireplace. Perfect!

These painting reproductions are absolutely gorgeous. They look perfect on canvas which makes the difference from a print. It gives it an authenticity and stands out in the room. This particular painting provides a haunting beauty and one cannot help but not just notice, but admire. My only complaint is that I wish the company still sold classic frames along with the painting.
