Overcharge in My Pub App
I recently visited The George Tapps. I used the "My Pub" mobile app to order. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn due to payment processing issues. Despite several attempts, my payments seemingly failed to go through. I finally used my friend's Apple Pay. Surprisingly, upon checking with my bank, I discovered that the initial attempts had indeed been processed, resulting in me paying an extra £43.96 (£21.98 twice).
This experience has left me disappointed and financially inconvenienced. While I understand that technical issues can occur, the lack of immediate resolution or acknowledgment from the app or the establishment has been frustrating.
I immediately contacted the app support after I noticed. However, I haven't heard from someone and it's been nearly a week.
I would hope for a prompt refund of the overcharged amount.
