We loved our stay at this hotel

We loved our stay at this hotel. Really clean and well ran. I thought the food was really good. Especially the outside BBQ which was different every night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially mahummett ( I think that’s how it’s spelt ) he can’t do enough for you and the guy at the pool bar was really good. The entertainment team and kids entertainment team are a real credit to the hotel. They are always active in the kids club with the kids and are very friendly. Eylul from the entertainment team was by far the best and really makes a fuss of everyone and gets everyone involved. Give That girl a pay rise.
Would definitely stay there again. Any 1 star reviews are just Karen’s with nothing better to do :)

Lovely and spacious hotel

Stayed at this hotel for the first time during our 4th time in Marmaris in June of this year. Just returned last week. I have to say that overall impressed with this hotel. I would have given it 5 stars but a few negatives prevented that. These were:
1. Guests leaving towels on sunbeds but not returning for hours thereby depriving others from a space;
2. Not all reception staff friendly and no help provided to help take heavy bags to the room on arrival;
3. Bathroom lighting could be better and space between bathroom door and shower area;
4. Mini-bar not always replenished following room cleaning;
5. Too many very young kids. We went during what we thought was school term time but found that some parents had obviously taken out their kids from school early to suit their needs.
6. Not sure about the quality of the night-time entertainment though. Could get better singers!
Anyway despite all of the above, there are lots of positives:
1. Very spacious rooms with good sea-view rooms. Balconies also spacious.
2. Nice beds: low down so easy for guests to get in and out.
3. Very clean: the hotel ensured that everywhere including hotel toilets were always spotless.
4. Brilliant if you are all-inclusive: can get water, soft drinks, ice creams and snacks anytime.
5. Great variety of food for everyone and caters for all tastes.
6. Restaurant reception staff very welcoming. Waiters were hit and miss though!
7. Very spacious hotel with big reception area. You can actually just hang around in the hotel for hours as there are lots of things to do inside if you want to avoid too much sun!
8. Own private beach area.
9. Good location: near shops and essential amenities

No hotel is every perfect and despite some of the negatives, overall this is the nearest you will get to a 5 star hotel in Marmaris in my opinion. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I go to Marmaris again in the future.

No Faults if your not a Karen

Stayed in the Green Nature chain for 4 occasions now never had a issue with the actual hotels or the food or staff
Big shout out to Mert on the Pool Bar at Green Nature Spa excellent member of staff really made you feel welcome and always happy
The hotels are always clean the food is good always something to eat lots of chicken but can’t beat a bit of chicken
Facilities are good few issues with parent control during holidays letting there children run wild which caused some animosity with a few people but kids will be kids

Don't pay the extra for a good room

Picked the best expensive room to find we are above the kids club. It is 10.20 at night and they are still down there outside banging tables etc. Also we picked a sea view which it is but overlooks the pool that blasts out music from 10am to 5pm every day. Then the entertainment blasts out till midnight. Don't pay the extra for a sea view. Probably don't stay, we won't be back

Great Hotel and Staff

Where to start. The reception staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble and in fact went above and beyond the line of duty for me on a couple of occasions. I must mention Mertcan and Senem who were both amazing. Professional, cheerful, efficient and helpful. The hotel was spotless and as I was there later in the year the lifts were not always busy so no great lengths waiting to get to your floor or down to the lobby etc.
The dining was super, the selection of cooked main courses was great, loads of salad options, soup, bread and the deserts to die for. Breakfast was very good except for the absence of bacon but that is the rules in Turkish hotels due to religious considerations. But if you really crave bacon with your breakfast there are many cafes/restaurants outside the hotel where you can purchase a full English with toast and Tea/Coffee for about £8/9. The Green Nature Diamond was absolutely perfectly placed at the front was a main road where you can get the bus to Marmaris or Ichmeler for 30 Lira (about £1 at time of holiday) or go through the hotel Lobby down a level and past the pool and you are on the promenade which skirts the beach. About 50 feet to the right and onwards there are a number of boat trip vendors with swimming trips and visits to a market on offer. The boat trip I took cost £15 started at 10.30 and concluded at 17.00 took in 3 swimming stops a one'ish hour visit to the market and included a meal of chicken, salad and pasta. Really worth the money to get views of the mountains etc from a different perspective than from your hotel window. The waiters really made not only meal times a real treat but also at other times when you would bump into them around the hotel. One evening I asked one of the waiters if there were any crackers to accompany the cheese selection, but due to language difficulties the conversation ended up with a number of the waiters discussing this and getting nowhere just due to cultural misunderstandings. However along comes one of the guys called Firat. He grasped what I was after and the next day presented me with two packets of crackers which he had gone to the supermarket and bought . He absolutely refused to take payment for them and I felt extremely privileged as the only person in the hotel with crackers for my cheese. I would also mention the lobby bar where the main bartender Udenis was terrific. One visit and from then on he was on the ball always producing another drink for you at exactly the time your current drink was coming to its end.
I would recommend The Green Nature Diamond hotel to anyone, it is everything you want in a hotel with facilities and amazing staff combined, in a beautiful country blessed with long sunny days.

Green Diamond Marmaris

We had a week stay here and in the main it was a lovely stay. The highlights were service from Meltem, whom we only found in the last 3 days, oh how we wish we had sat in here area of the dining area from day one. She was attentive and went out of her way to look after us and made us feel special. Also our cleaner Ferayi, was a little diamond, she was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and the work to maintain that.
We managed to lock ourselves out of our safe, but the sent a technician within 29 minutes of reporting it. Food I. The buffet was not great quality, but edible and plenty to choose from. Omelette station was fab. The a la carte restaurants were much better but you only have one night free.
Negatives were reception staff. In the process of requesting late check in, the girl serving us dropped our discussion to assist a tattooist take off his ill fitting wristband, but couldn’t find some scissors, she went off to find some even though two other colleagues were stood with no customers, a chap was shuffling some papers, and the other girl went into a side room and started texting someone. She finally returned with the scissors and replaced his wristband. Only when she saw my face of utter disbelief did she give a flippant “sorry”. The children’s pool was immaculate, but the adult pool floor was dirty, and felt slimy where there was an algae build up. Drinks were very weak, but this was common outside the hotel too. Our first round we had to pay for as we arrived after midnight, and that’s when you have to pay. We were told 280 for each drink, I handed over 2x200 but my friend handed over 4x100 because I had handed over 400, he came back with 40 change instead of 240, we had only just landed so I didn’t make a scene, but decided my tips would be reserved for the ladies for the rest of the holiday. Beds are very firm, I prefer soft, but you can’t please everyone on this subject. All in all, I would stay there again. Boat trips were the highlight right outside the hotel beach entrance. Would stay here again.

Avoid these hotels at all costs

Avoid these hotels at all costs. We stayed in the green nature resort and spa and our holiday was absolutely awful the way we were treated. Our bed was broken in our room and one of the legs had snapped off which they wouldn’t fix so sleeping was a nightmare. I had a man from the bar staff harass me and asking which took I was staying in. The guest relations threatened us as my friend left a bad review on trip advisor and stated “the bar and restaurant manager are not happy at all, I’m not sure what they will do to you.” I asked for £20 to be changed into 4 £5 notes but they said they would only offer me 20 lira (which isn’t even equivalent to £1!). We had a French couple throw our things off our sun beds whilst we were in the pool and they broke my boyfriends phone, they were shouting and swearing in our faces and again the staff did nothing. I have always went to Turkey and I can say I will NEVER return to this hotel. Only half decent experience we had was with the spa and the amazing service we had from Steven who dealt with excursions. We had guest relations say they would contact us throughout our holiday to sort out our issues but again we had nothing in return. When we had a minor issue in a hotel we went to in Antalya, the staff and manager were very keen to sort our issue and even offered us a VIP cabana on the beach for free as a resolution to our complaint. The staff at green nature are awful and do not care what happens to you, the only time people start treating you differently if when you tip, and we weren’t going to give a tip with the way we were treated.

Wouldn't go back

Wouldn't go back
The room and air con were good. Bathroom outdated but functional.
Bottles of water were left in the room after each clean which I found was a brilliant idea.
Staff were friendly. Food was nice and plenty variety. Shops on site sold everything you could need.

Majority of the sun beds were 'reserved' with hotel towels for the full duration of most days and not used which meant we were stuck behind the slides in the shade for the majority of the time. One morning I got up at 5am and there was only a few beds available in a better location but again - most were reserved.
The steps are slippy and I had a nasty fall down them.
There was an insulin pen in the fridge in our room with needles.
The alcohol was extremely poor quality. I was ordering double vodka with my cocktails to mix together and still didn't feel the effect.
I can't comment on the night Entertainment as we only stayed for 10 minutes and wasn't our thing so we left. Would be nice if they played music on a night at the garden bar.
We went to the sister Hotel one day and was refused entry - we could only use the bar and had to pay for the drinks. Tried to use the beach and was told it was closed so we couldn't use it so we had to move further along.
Beach was shingle so buy water socks if you're planning on going and the water isn't clear so no point trying to snorkel
Transfer was a long 2 hours.

3 Star Hotel not 5 Star

Very poor food in the restaurant, service providers are good but the food was just a repeat and change in colour that’s it. Hotel needs to stop these excursion touts and have them outside the resort if we want them will go to you not call us whilst we walk to lunch dinner for a poo!
