Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the product quality to be poor, with non-stick coatings failing rapidly, pans chipping, and items staining or buckling after minimal use. People frequently reported that the products did not live up to their advertised claims, especially regarding durability and non-stick properties, despite following care instructions. Customers also expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, dismissive, and unresponsive. They often received generic replies, were blamed for product issues, or found it difficult to get a resolution for warranty claims or faulty items. Some people were also dissatisfied with the pricing, feeling that the high cost did not align with the poor quality received.

Scam company

GreenPan's claims are false enough that I think it's fair to call them a scam rather than simply using misleading advertising. My last non-stick pan lasted 18 years; the GreenPan (with their "best" coating) that replaced it started sticking eggs right from the start, and other stuff within two weeks, following their very restrictive care instructions (which contradict their "diswasher safe" claims elsewhere). Easily the worst non-stick pan I've ever used, sticks eggs more than uncoated aluminum or steel. Company won't replace or refund, claims user error/improper care (and this is apparently everyone's experience who complains to them).

Fully a quarter of Amazon reviews say similar things - and 90% of reviews here - which makes it clear this is a systemic problem, not a few outliers.

Given the number of "best pan" reviews I've read, it looks very much like they're buying false reviews across the board. At best it's unacceptably deceptive, but really I'd argue it's fraud.

Not satisfied at all

Not satisfied at all. Bought a full set of Greenpan w/lids back in late 2021.
Would not recommend them. I've never really believed in the non-stick concept, and these pans did nothing to change my mind. They work okay for boiling water, or making soups and stews, but that's about it. Coating degrades quickly when used to fry meat at high temp. Went back to my annoying to clean but indestructible thirty-year-old cast iron to fry with.

KEEP SHOPPING & don’t look back on these!

Based on the other reviews I’m not at all surprised. I said when I found the time I would rate these pans because I was so pissed off about them. In March 2023 I bought these expensive ass pots from bed bath and beyond a few weeks before the store closed down. By April those mf’rs were already chipping! Since I paid $350 for these pots I thought they would be good and wanted to make sure I followed instructions on how to care for them. Nope! Chipping 3-4mths after purchase. Now I’m having to throw 1 pan and the smallest pot in the trash because of it. That’s a got damn shame! Waste of money! Here I’m thinking yeah go ahead and invest! I paid like $100 for a Rachel Ray set like 10yrs ago….i just threw them out thinking I was replacing hers with a better brand! That’s how long her pots lasted for me! I’m livid these pots are trash. The box also said a 10 piece set but when I opened it there were only 8 pieces! GREEN PAN! You mf’rs are frauds! I can’t believe it!

Pans lost non-stick after about 8 or 9…

Pans lost non-stick after about 8 or 9 months. Have now had them just over a year and they are useless as non-stick. I have treated them better than my own children! Only EVER hand washed with gentle washing up liquid and very soft bristled brush because they were an investment for me. I bought 2 large frying pans, a medium frying pan and a small frying pan plus a pancake pan. The only one that is still non stick is the pancake pan because it's probably only been used 4 times in the past year. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!
Pots do not work with induction!! Had a technician out from our cooktop who confirmed the pots are useless!! Company asked us to return the pots but won’t issue our refund. Have lodged formal complaint with Department of Fair Trading.
Customer support is useless to deal with!

Suck...these pans suck

Suck...these pans suck. 8 months after purchase the non-stick properties are gone. They burn everything. The edges are all chipped up. GreenPan customer service said this normal and not harmful to my family. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Wish I’d read the reviews before…

Wish I’d read the reviews before wasting money on the pans. Bought the Mayflower three pan set in the sale for £90. After two uses, two of the pans are already losing coating around the rim. One pan is also losing coating inside after cooking one batch of rice! I emailed the company, received an acknowledgment (519734), plus promise to respond within 24 business hours. This was received on 13.01.24. Since then, silence.

Terrible pan and customer service

Terrible pan, became sticky after two weeks of use, even used with soft utensil and wash with care.
Customer service said that was because I used extra virgin Oliver oil because it has low smoke point. What a joke!
Terrible customer service as well, super slow and templated response.

These pans are HORRIBLE

These pans are HORRIBLE! This is the first time I ever purchased expensive cookware, I figured it was time, I'm an adult. Huge mistake. Being that I spent about $600 on these pans, I did everything by the book! I used plastic utensils, I NEVER put them in the dishwasher, always hand washed them, I used the felt pan protectors, I even bought more because they didn't even send me enough for the 12 piece set I ordered, never used HIGH heat and these pans deteriorated faster than the $120 dollar sets I used to buy from Walmart!
After a very short year and a half these pans are no longer nonstick, they have scratches that are rusted. AND their warranty is total BS, after 4 months, the rim of the pans started to chip, I sent photos to customer care immediately and was told that it's not covered. I should of did more research on these pans, I recently found out there were sued in 2019 for yup, you guessed it FALSE ADVERTISEMENT of their products. If you're reading this, DO NOT BUY THESE PANS! I was so proud to buy these, my husband did not want me to buy them but I begged because they pretended to have a great warranty so I felt safe. WRONG!

This pan sticks to everything

This pan sticks to everything, even on low heat. What's worse is when I contacted customer support, I explained in my email the steps I go through to prevent sticking, but their response was so automated it basically just re-listed everything I had already mentioned that I do.

I love this skillet!

I bought the small 7"? Skillet to cook eggs. I followed the instructions to a "T" (use a little bit of oil). I have to say, this skillet is great. I have now used my skillet going on 3 months and it is unquestionably the best non-stick skillet I have ever used. I cook eggs, SPAM, bacon, grilled cheese sandwiches in it as well as noodles and soups all on low gas and electric stoves and I have NO complaints...

New warned, they don’t live up to even a low expectation.

After seeing these Pans at John Lewis and the quality looking aesthetically like a good performing pan we bought a full set of pans to go with our new kitchen. We purchased them directly from Greenpan a huge mistake. Getting used to a new induction hob and the new pans was interesting, we had one pan burn instantly and the customer service advised using a magic sponge to rectify, this didn’t work, the pan now always catches and burns. The other pans have burnt, they cook unevenly, they scratch and generally are nowhere near the quality expected with such a high price. Steer clear is the best advice we can give, customer service and product quality are far from acceptable.

These pans SUCK!!

These pans SUCK!!! They chip & aren't not stick. The customer service is ridiculous. It's not hassle-free; if you use them, kiss your money goodbye. Eh, I wish I would have seen these before I got them!

Worst pan I've ever used.

I was given these pans last Christmas and always followed the care instructions. Everything sticks to these pans regardless of how you cook it. If this is how a "green" product performs give me good old Teflon any day.

Wokpan didn't work at our induction

I bought a wokpan via an action from Albert Heijn. This type was not working well on our AEG induction.
The communication by email was fast and very good. I wrote in Dutch and got a mail back in very good Dutch with a solution. They send an other type of wokpan with excuses. I think this is a great service.
I'm very glad with this solution.
By the way, I also bought an other pan of 28 cm and this one is great. Non sticky!
I don't understand the bad reviews about the product and service.

Horrible Product and Disappointing Customer Service!

Very disappointed with quality of Greenpan @greenpanus pan which i brought a year or so back.....have been following up with customer service for replacement with futile results..... case # 474988..i am sure @greenpanus really values their customer & sentiments

quality is a concern but customer service is even worse..they are ignorant and stubborn on not fixing the issue..I have been talking to customer service but in vain..

where is the promise for lifetime quality and service? They have been ignorant of my multiple requests on issue with quality of food due to wearing off surface, rather convincing me to use these pan wirh this quality

Chipped after 5 times use!

The coating peeling itself away after 5 times use, hand wash and stored like a baby. They said it's normal but their website also said you should replace it once chipped... Just it doesn't contains PTFE doesn't mean it's safe to be eaten! Stay away from this company! Complete rubbish and waste of money.
