Hello

Hello, I think this also applies to Spain. Why is there no personal access to the page even though I was a monthly donator? Via mail which now gives error, so you have to call them to unsubscribe like we wer 50 years ago, probably to make people not want to go thorugh the trouble. Mob like mentality I gues..

UNAUTHORIZED charges to credit card

My experience after trying to temporarily suspend month donations charged to my credit card: * Took FOUR MONTHS overall and I’m still not certain they are stopped as it hasn’t been a full month yet. * CANNOT CANCEL monthly charges through credit card, only the merchant/organization charging them. * CUSTOMER SERVICE is very difficult to contact, all kinds of wrong contact information online. They take 2-3 days to respond and by email only… they ask all kinds of questions and keep this going back and forth right up until the end to squeeze another one or two monthly donation charges. After the first request to cancel - any charges thereafter I consider THEFT.
* If they are this UNETHICAL with their treatment of people’s generosity then I don’t trust them to be ethical with handling of the funds.

Please don’t give your support to a pyramid scheme

Extremely predatory, they will show up at your door to guilt you and they will only accept your credit card for a monthly donation plan. They operate like a pyramid scheme. They have irrational viewpoints on deep sea mining and nuclear power not based on science and fact, but based on emotion, not what’s best for the environment. Their largest donor owns an oil company. They’re bad to the point where the founder has distanced himself from it. That tells you all you need to know. They aren’t a nonprofit, you can’t even write off donations. Con artists if I’ve ever seen it

Lazy and con artists

Opted to do a one time payment to the door to door guy. After he left I did some research and saw all the bad reviews. I called in to cancel the same day. I was told it would be taken care of and I wouldn't be charged.
Herd I and nearly a year later and I see a $30 charge. They were charhing be for nearly a year.
I called in to cancel once again and of course it's some how my fault. Im told if i had emailed them they would of done thier do diligence and canceled It. But since i called in its my fault. Seriously, what a joke. I asked for a copy of all recorded calls to bring to my lawyer. "Sorry, sir but I don't think we can do that", is all I hear.
Can't speak to management. I have to email them in hopes of a response. And I'm out a years worth of withdrawals.

Charging my card without permission

These people knocked on my door asking for donation and explaining what they do I agreed to a one time $25 donation and gave them my cc information. I recently discovere they have setup a recurring withdrwal from my cc so I called them to get additional charges refunded, they said trhey couldnt and I said I would be filing a complaint and disputing charges and to stop charging me. I thought charges would end they are still charging my card so going to have to cancel cc and get a new number what a nightmare, avoid this company like the plague. Very shady practices.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. It's obviously a voluntary act to donate, not an expectation. So why am I treated like its a loan repayment? I asked in writing to cancel my donations due to financial stress and they continued billing me for another 3 months after. I asked for refund of those 3 months and they claimed iggnorance to ever being contacted. I told them the exact date and time I was in communication with them. They denied. And now they loose my ongoing service and trust for the rest of my life and I'll do everything in my power to make their shortcomings known.

Donations Spent on Printing Requests for Money instead of the Environment

I like the work that Greenpeace does for the environment. My challenge is that I donated money to them and can't get them to stop sending me written and text messages requesting more money. I can delete the texts but they are ruining the environment with all of this paper that I put in the recycling bin!! This is counter to their goal to improve the environment. Additionally, the money that they spend on printing and mailing should be going to the environment. I called them but no one answers the phone. I sent them an email asking them to stop but today I received two more written requests for money. I will never donate to them again.

Unauthorized Charges

Back in late October of 2022 I authorized a one-time donation of $10 to GreenPeace because they were doing a beach cleanup in my city. Just over 3 months later I discovered they have been charging me $40 monthly, like their canvasser had tried to sell me on. I cannot afford to donate $40 monthly, which is why I chose help out however I could. Now my credit card is over the limit and I have to suffer those consequences. If only I knew before that they take advantage of small donors through through deception, I wouldn't have given them anything!

Greenpeace starvation Sri Lanka!

Greenpeace, you know, The Green moralists, the groups that insist on a total ban on fossil fuels and nuclear power . Fossil fuels are not just for power, they also used many other things, like to make fertilizer. If we stopped using them how many people around the world would starve to death. Is that what you want mass genocide. How about current events ,Jul 17, 2022 Sri Lanka is the tip of the iceberg of how "Green New Deal" policies promoted by the World Bank, IMF, Davos, and Greenpeace will lead to poverty, starvation, and chaos worldwide. The shutting down USA fossil fuel production emboldened Putin. The blood of many Ukraine citizens is on their hands. We need to show up at every event they hold and counter protest them. Environmentalist need to meet the rest of humanity part way. We should push to have all power plants converted to advanced nuclear power That would give us CO2 free power and let us recycle nuclear waste to a much safer state . Then fossil fuels could be used for heating homes and for power in portable use, like cars were nuclear power is not practical. But Greenpeace says no you must starve and mankind must return to the stone age

Scam direct debit!

Scam direct debit!

My husband dicovered that out of the blue Greenpeace started deducted funds from his account. This was never authorised and the bank has not been able to provide evidence of authorization. Greenpeace challenged the reversion and has sucked kut the money again without proper authorization. Worst thing is 99% of money they raise never gets to preserving wildlife or protecting the environment but gets paid out as horrendous salaries to management operating these scam systems. Just a disgrace.

SHAME ON GREENPEACE

WOW!!!!! I was solicited for a donation in an outdoor mall. The representative said she could not take cash or a check but could take banking information and a debit would be made. I was asked to sign that I agreed to giving my banking information for my donation for “that” day! While it is my fault for not monitoring my checking account as carefully as I should have, NEVER did I think that Greenpeace had been debiting my account every month for months and months. When I contacted them, I was told that they have a signature authorizing the debits.....NOPE, I was “asked” for a signature to authorize access for the one time debit. SHAME ON GREENPEACE....Now that I have been charged over $1,000, I will not feel very generous in the future!

Greenpeace ignores animal agriculture as the main source of environmental destruction

I used to support Greenpeace until I learned that they refuse to address animal agriculture as the most major factor affecting climate change, environmental damage and animal cruelty on the planet. Even more so than the well-plugged fossil fuels narrative.

Watch the film documentary "Cowspiracy" to learn more about the consequences to you, wildlife, the oceans and the planet of eating meat, fish and dairy.
