As other reviewers have said, the most valuable features were removed after the Kickstarter ended, and now they're asking for exorbitant and unrealistic shipping fees.

Shortly before writing this review, they also appear to have removed their website, and I can no longer find any evidence of their company online, only an unrelated charity with the same name.

Same as others - backed their kickstarter campaign. AFTER they got 10x funded they started removing key features people initially backed for. They said shipping would be $33 to Canada but could be "slightly more". Then they said it was going to be $121!! Almost the whole price of the grinder all over again citing tariffs. I buy electronics from China from time to time including a high end video light 2 weeks ago and didn't pay anywhere near that even though it's a much bigger package. Canada has not since imposed tariffs on standard Chinese electronics. Now they won't respond to any messages requesting shipping reduction or refund.

Scam company, stay away. 10x funded on kickstarter, missed their deadlines by a long shot, removed most of the features and now they claim they are ready to ship and want 50% of the purchase price of the unit to ship. The communication is terrible and it’s a Chinese company that could care less about its global customers. They are either money grabbers or extremely incompetent.

The offered a product with superior features which were then all removed during the subsequent development phase. Which leaves an ordinary product (grinder) which is on the market with uncountable manufacturers.
Delays in the overall process with no or only delayed information.
And, finally, they now increased their shipping costs to Europe x5 and claim this is due to increased logistics costs (in reality not so much) and customs (the latter have to be paid by the customer, not the shipper).
Many of supporters complain. No answers, no refund. I assume my money is gone... :(

Total scam. I guess they screwed us. (Take the money and run (but ask for more before then)).

scam! don't buy this. at the purchase time, shipment was included. and now they charge amounts like 180$ for shipment. reported at kickstarter as well

Unfortunately the worst side of Kickstarter and trying to rip people off

Another scam company. Small 6-10 person operation hoping to make their dream come to life by asking the wonderful people of the Kickstarter community to invest in their innovative coffee grinder that has a built in scale, variable speed motor, and 0 grinds retention… of which they had a working prototype waiting full scale production. Delivery was supposed to be 6 months and shipping charges were quoted in the campaign as either “free shipping worldwide” or $25 to the U.S. with a guarantee any shipping increases would be minimal depending on when the final product ships. Within months of “production” aesthetic design changes were made, and the innovative functionality tested in their prototype suddenly was not possible. A boring grinder like everything else readily available was all that backers were now promised. Next came little to no communication and constant delays. Now, 6 months later, they have reached “final stages” of production and requested shipping fees be paid. To all backers surprise, shipping charges have increased to a widely varying range of $90-$650! Even in the U.S. tariffs would be payed by me to the shipping/delivery company before delivery, and shipments after August 29th under $800 would not be subject to additional taxes and tariffs per the de minimus exemption being reimplemented. There’s no guarantee this item ships and it’s just a scam to take people’s money. Even in a recent update from the scam artists, they say “ We’re happy to share that 80% of you have already completed the shipping payment — thank you! This allows us to proceed with confirming voltage specs and placing final orders with the factory.” Proof of another money grab…we robbed you of more money to pay to “complete” the product and pay the manufacturing factory because we can’t manage our money. Best case scenario, they cannot manage money and a small percentage of backers receive the product before they go under. Worst case scenario, no one receives anything and the scammers disappear off the face of the earth.

DO NOT BUY!! Backed the campaign kickstarter at the beginning, along the way they removed all the key features we were promised because obviously it wasn't cost efficient (auto weight, variable rpm). And now they require shipping that went up more than than 4 times what was announced at the beginning of the campaign !! They did guarantee that shipping price would only fluctuate slightly based on actual costs and could increase or decrease by a few dollars though... SCAM !

I wish I could give this thing zero stars. They haven't delivered on the original promise from th campaign (which were the only points of difference between it and literally any other decent grinder available on the mainstream market). They quotes $25 USD for P+H and now they are asking for $125USD. RIDICULOUS. It is a scam. Do not back this "project".

Backed them on Kickstarter with confirmation of free delivery for product. Constant delays and all innovative features removed making this just another grinder now (if it evens exists). Then want to charge $110 for shipping. Ransom play to get more money and doubt the product would ever ship. STAY CLEAR - you have been warned

So you pledge for 169/199 $ for a grinder with amazing features, and then after company taking the money, they removed all those features and asking for a shipping fees for 650$.
Definitely not worth it.

Said coffee grinder would cost $169 and $0 global shipping. Said would deliver 5 months (feb 2025) after backing (sept 2024). delayed until july 2025 and now is asking for $95 shipping. Requesting refund and if not issued will do credit card chargeback.

I backed them on Kickstarter. They have changed all the major features, removing all the best ones. Plus, now that they say the product is ready for delivery, they are asking 6 times the original estimated delivery cost. If this is not considered scamming, I don't know what else it could be.
