Its the biggest scamm ever for headphones. Bought the V2 version it stopped working after 1 month. They sent me a second pair of headhphones for free. The battery is running out after 30 min and it is full charged. Will never ever buy again from a commercial on the internet only from oficial stores and brands. STAY AWAY

I had two pairs of headphones v1 and v2…

I had two pairs of headphones v1 and v2 both fitted great and sounded good. Down side was battery stop charging after about two months. Customer care useless. For that reason I’m out.
I wondered why I hadn’t heard or seen any ads on social media in a while.
If they got their arses in gear upgraded batteries and gave exceptional customer care this company would have done great. Absolute shame as I like the style of the product. I believe it got to big to quickly and they couldn’t cope with demand.

Do not support this company

I have the equalizers v3. Not premium at all and hold no charge after maybe 3 to 4 months of use. It goes without saying they won't respond to you if its about tech support so warranty is a joke. No point writing anymore on this, the company is a scam or at very least a sham!

Could've been awesome

I orderd a pair of matte black V.3 Equalizers. I'd like to start by saying the head phones fit, and sound great, and hold a charge fairly well. That being said they are cheaply made, pretty much out of the box the slider on the left ear piece pretty much moves on it's own and the rubber padding of the headpiece started peeling off after about a week. I tried emailing C/S several times and got ZERO response....nothing at all. Very disappointed

Gripped headphones

I've ordered a total of 6 pairs of headphones from them for me and my wife. Every single pair of v2's stopped charging and hold no charge after 3-4 months of use, battery life is less than an hour. It's a shame, they have a great desgin but cheaply made. The frame snapped on my pair of v3 after usingit a handful of times. The only pair that is still currently working is the grip free which i bought in 2019. Customer response is non existent when I reached out.

Do not waste your money.

Had to give it one star but I wouldn’t even of done that if I didn’t have to. Absolute waste of money mine quit charging after a month and they will not return emails. Do not waste your money.

The two stars are 1) they sound good…

The two stars are 1) they sound good and 2) they fit snugly when working out. Beyond that, They are made very poorly and customer service is lackluster. They look good in the ads with the sexy girl and the pumped dude working out AND they look good for the first few months... then they start falling apart. the paint on the small amount of metal it has starts easily scratching, the rubber on the top head band starts coming apart and the plastic cans over the ears separate easily. Fortunately I managed to keep them active for 1 year and 1 month (Bought then in Feb 2019 with a 1 year warranty) then the ear piece broke off completely in March of 2020. I wear these things mostly when Im in front of the computer and have NEVER dropped them. I'm not a beast at the gym so they have never endured a large amount of abuse. They simply start slowly falling apart with casual wear.

Horrible! Stay Away!!

For years the problem that I have had was finding the right headphones for working out. Due to ear problems having any headphones that stick within my ears was not an option. I have purchased many headphones. Six on our last ones have been “Gripped” headphones. We were attracted to those due to to no sliding off your head that they advertise. The problems with them is that they are cheaply constructed, would fall apart, wires would disconnect, not enough padding in the ears so all the pressure to keep them from sliding hurt our ears. But we couldn’t find anything similar. Well after the last time dealing with them, not receiving our headphones, and not receiving a credit back from them (we had to dispute our credit card charge and the company never returned any of our six plus emails) we decided to move on to find other headphones. That brought us to Cowin E7. They are ok. We use them for Bluetooth at our gym during cardio. The remain of on fine during cardio. The problem is that the audio constantly cracks in and out when connected to the tv on the cardio machines. I have switched to various machines and still have the same problem. I have not had this problem with any other headphone previously. When lifting weights these fall off your head constantly. On many of the machines we have to remove them completely because they are too bulky to fit into the machine.
The noise cancellation is ok but does not completely eliminate outside noise but it does an ok job. These headphones are not bad enough to force me back to Gripped Audio headphones, but they do lead me to believe that there must still be something better out there for working out that is reasonably priced.
GRIPPED HEADPHONES are not the best headphones, but are by far not the worse we have had. I we have had 6 pair that we received and another pair that never arrived. Trying to reach this company is almost impossible. They have not returned one of or over 6 emails about our last order of their too often the line headphones that we never received. Previous headphones we had of theirs the plastic band that runs across your head would break, the part on your ear that controls the volume would fall off, we had to crazy glue parts to keep it together. Why did we go back so often. First we thought that we just needed to upgrade to there too if the line headphones, well the still sucked!! Yes they grill so they did not fall off our head like other head phones by the foam is horrible, so the pressure hurts your head. Customer Service is non existent!! If you have a problem it is hit or miss if they will contact you back to resolve it. We finally had to dispute the charge on our credit card because we never received our headphones, they acknowledged they are sold out, yet still did not credit back our credit card.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
Update: They never returned our emails. Luckily the credit card saw that they are at fault and they refunded the cost of the headphones. Buyer beware.

Absolutely do not buy them.

This company is a joke!

This company is a joke - do not buy from them! I didn’t receive my order and their customer service was atrocious in trying to resolve the issue. They didn’t take any responsibility and I ended up out of pocket and without a Xmas present for my son.

Save your money

Save your money. Their customer service is crap. Had an issue with pair of V2. Took forever to get a replacement pair. Replacement pair lasted a couple months. Battery won't last more than a couple hours tops. Have sent several emails to them and as the time before no response. They even went as far as to block me from leaving any comments on their Facebook page. The company is a joke.

Purchased headphones and never received them!

UPDATE:
I eventually received the headphones and they are awesome! Great sound, sturdy, very stable bluetooth connection and they fold up nicely. So I revised my rating to 5 stars. The headphones deliver and the price was great!

I placed an order on 12/3/2019. It is now 12/12/2019 and I have not received a tracking number. Attempts to contact the company have failed. They do not respond to emails. Did not call the number because I am in USA and they are situated in Australia.

Would not recommend anyone trying to buy items from them. Appears to be a scam. I am giving them 30 days to deliver the product. If I do not received it by 1/3/2019 I will open a dispute with my credit card company.

Gripped Actives

Just got my gripped actives.
Im not too happy with the product to be honest.
They look like second hand product. I can see dirt on them (i know it is white colour) but still, when buying new product i expect new/clean. Another think, few scratches under the plastic foil, eirphone magnets looks dirty and used, plastic "decor" on collar going off. Sound, not bed for the price $30. Wouldn't spend more on them.
Very poor battery, work for over hour not 6h
Send few emails to them with few pictures of the product (photos made straight after unpacking) and nothing.
No respond. Terrible customer service!!!
I do not recommend company GRIPPED FITNESS AUDIO

I am on my second pair of the V2…

I am on my second pair of the V2 headphone. I was not super pleased with the first pair. First, let me state that the sound is pretty good and the comfort is better than i expected. That is about all i an say positive for them. My first set started with the battery never charing to 100%. The most it would ever charge was 90% no matter how long i left it plugged in or if I unplugged it for a little. Next came the hinges which began to loosen within a month so that they never stayed folded. I was taking them out of my gym bag which i had on the rubber mat and the ear piece broke when they hit the mat; a distance of about 4 - 6 inches. Having them close to a year, one side stopped working. Reluctantly i bought a second pair. Hoping they would be better. I am not surprised that my new pair are so far the same. The battery life is supposed to be 4 -5 hours. well that is not true. Maybe 2 - 3 at most. I had 80% charge and within 30 minutes they started beeping indicating battery is low. They never charge 100%, even after letting them run down completely. So the battery life is terrible. The hinges are starting to loosen just like the first pair after only 2 weeks. They upgraded to a neoprene case which is much better than the cheap bag. I am very thankful i spent only $30 for them each time because if I would have spent the $80 that they actually sell them for (or they say they cost) i would be much more upset with them than I am.
