WHY GROUNDSCREWS? Ground screws replace and outperform concrete blocks. If we consider the environmental cost of concrete, ground screws offer a way forward in these changing times without sacrificing stability, cost or longevity. Fast to install, strong, lightweight, low cost, robust, low mess, climate friendly – what is not to love! There are many advantages to the ground screw, but above all else it is about your time and effort: you do not have to lug heavy loads, dig deep holes, pour messy concrete and wait for it to set. Our helical ground screws should not be confused with basic ground anchors or lightweight soil screws from DIY stores that you can install yourself. The ground screw is the best solution for supporting wooden decks, sheds, greenhouses, conservatories, carports or other structures such as flagpoles, signs or fences. Ground screws offer a range of screws in different models and sizes to cater to whatever building project you have in mind, and on whatever terrain. Whether it is soft or hard ground, our screws are fully functional when sunk and there is no need to waste time waiting for wet concrete to set. The installers anchor the ground screws for you. Installation is quick and easy, for example the supports for a medium-sized wooden deck can be ready in just a few hours. The ground is pre-drilled for each screw to ensure the best possible bite, regardless of the type of soil or rock. Our equipment is light and portable and does not wreck your garden moving into place. The drilling does not tear up the grass, tarmac or other terrain, and after we are finished we leave behind the minimum of mess.

We used GSY for the base of our new 3.6m x 10m shed, Stuart turned up when he said he would and installed 30 ground screws, neat, tidy and all level.
Will use GSY for our next shed base.
