Chancers that try to extort money

So as normal on a trip into town, I parked in the multi-storey Car Park run by Reef Parking. Stayed for just under 2 hours, paid using the kiosk located on the 1st floor of the Multi-storey and went on my merry way.

10 days later, I received a parking ticket stating they had no record that I had paid to park, so I thought "Thank god I got the receipt for parking" and provided that to them for the appeal, thinking I would hear no more about it.

Amazingly, they rejected my appeal and stated that I had paid for the surface car park that costs £2, rather than the Multi-Storey car park that costs £1.55, so because I had paid the car park too much money I would now need to pay them £54 or £90 if I didn't pay in 2 weeks.

Thankfully, I went to Reef Parking and requested they look into this and provide evidence that I had indeed paid using the kiosk in the Multi-storey which quickly they did and ended up sending Group Nexus (or CP Plus Ltd/how every many other names they use) a request to cancel the parking charge.

I requested an explanation from Nexus, on how they rejected my appeal and what investigation they performed to reach this conclusion but as you can imagine, I received a boilerplate response stating I need to refer back to the previous correspondence which explains how my appeal was "carefully considered and rejected".

Basically, this company just tries to extort money from the general public and if you have a valid excuse or there was an issue caused by the parking company, they do not care and will just reject an appeal to try and steal your hard earned money.

Towards the end of November I had the very sad misfortune to say goodbye to my beautiful fur baby Maddie who suffered a heart condition which unfortunately the vets were unable to cure, and as a result of the time involved I incurred a parking penalty fine issued by the company which control the retail park. I appealed this notice under extenuating circumstances and to my pleasant surprise the company cancelled the notice and even apologised for any inconvenience caused, and in my appeal I said I would even contribute the amount of the fine to my local dog rescue centre who were asking for food donations for the dogs in there care especially this time of year so today true to my word I was able to deliver to them a substantial amount of what they asked for which I’m sure my beautiful fur baby girl would have wanted and it has helped relieve a little of the pain which I’m still feeling. SO BIG THANKS TO Groupnexus for your compassion and understanding Thankyou love Maddie 🐾

Absolute thieving basters

Absolute thieving basters, typical greedy car park company. Parked in a Forestry Commission car park where the FC employee took my payment and entered my cars reg into the system and issued me with a receipt for a full days parking. She must have made a typo with my reg because I received a PCN in the post. I appealed the PCN with proof of payment, yet they still want me to pay the fine! I can now appeal to Parking On Private Land Appeals (POPLA) but honestly who has the time for this and if my appeal with POPLA gets rejected the penalty payment increases! These companies are akin the the mafia.

Would be zero...

Paid well in advance with JustPark to park in one of their car parks in Cardiff. A week later got a PCN saying I hadn't paid. Just not acceptable. Why should a consumer have to go through the aggravation of wasting their time appealing online to them because their process is either inefficient or worse?

Fraudulent and Exploitative Practices – Government Must Take Action…

My experience with Group Nexus has been appalling. I spent hours trying to pay a parking fine, only to find that their system would not recognise my details. Attempts to register an account failed, and I never received the necessary codes to proceed. After reading other reviews, it is clear that I am not alone in this—this company appears to be operating a widespread scam, exploiting people through technical failures and bureaucratic delays.

What’s even more concerning is their appeals and complaints process. They deliberately delay responses, making it nearly impossible to dispute fines within the given timeframe. This seems like an intentional tactic to push people beyond the appeal deadline, forcing them to pay unfair charges. This is not just unethical—it is outright exploitation, and it should not be allowed to continue.

I am considering taking this matter to court if necessary, as companies like this should not be allowed to operate in such a dishonest manner. Additionally, I will be writing to my MP to raise awareness of these unfair practices and demand an investigation. I strongly encourage anyone else who has been affected to do the same.

The government must step in to regulate companies like Group Nexus and put an end to these predatory practices. This is yet another example of how private companies are abusing their position without accountability, and the public is suffering as a result.

If anyone from Group Nexus is reading this—people are starting to push back. You are not above the law, and sooner or later, action will be taken against companies that operate in this way.

A very crooked company that can legally apply a grossly inproportionate charge for their own equipment failing. These reprobates will also chase you to the ends of the earth and beyond. This is a prime example of our fines culture that is thriving in this country albeit very one sided. Venting your anger here is about all you will achieve. They give a crap not!

THIS 'COMPANY' DISCRIMINATE AGAINST DISABLED PEOPLE!

If I had the option to leave minus 4573829065473902 stars - I would! This company DISCRIMINATE against disabled people - and seem to pride themselves on that business model, judging by the reviews left on here!
I drive a mobility car, had parked in Glasgow Fort CLEARLY displaying my blue badge, yet received a demand to pay £100 for not displaying my badge?!?!?!?!?! Sent them an appeal (a complete waste of time), with a screenshot of my blue badge and advising that it was a mobility car, these scumbags rejected my appeal, despite seeing proof of my blue badge! Couldn't cancel their nasty charge, but could put it down to £20?!?!?!?! Went back to them again and reiterated that I was displaying my badge and that I had provided proof, but still they rejected it and demanded I pay them, so to avoid any further strain on my mental health by fighting with these charlatans, I had no choice but to pay it. This 'company' seem to pride themselves on bullying disabled people into paying them money for nothing - what a shame they aren't so proactive in charging people who park in disabled bays without displaying blue badges, because Glasgow Fort is full of these selfish people! I will now be raising this bullyboy tactic with the land owners and my local MSP and MP because companies like this cannot be allowed to continue to bully people into giving them money for absolutely nothing! A horrible organisation full of horrible wee people with wee man syndrome and complexes about how crap and useless they all are. Imagine getting your jollies by bullying disabled people into paying you money for nothing - sad pathetic individuals. Group Nexus are nothing but a bunch of thieving leeches, and I hope to see them go out of business very soon!

Genuinely tried to pay for parking

Genuinely tried to pay for parking, the machine said no parking required so left thinking it was a fault or we hadn’t been there long enough c15 mins. Then received a £60.00 fine. Tried to appeal and appeal rejected saying the signs were clear. I will never visit Carrsington Waters for a dog walk again, it’s not worth the risk of a parking fee scam.

This company needs to be taken down!

Is there a way we all can escalate this organisation to WATCHDOG and get them audited and take them down.

EVERY review can't be lying, my car broke down, Nexus has the option to appeal a parking ticket on these circumstances IF you can prove evidence which I DID and even after providing evidence that my car broke down and provided receipts of my breakdown cover who came that day to assist me, this organisation still rejected my appeal for no genuine reason, they said they will reduce it to £20, weeks after the agreed timeframe to respond back to me, so by their logic, you can't appeal the ticket under any circumstances and even when the website give you options to, you will still HAVE TO PAY. How does that work???

They send you to POPPLA to appeal knowing full well POPPLA will side with them because they get a commission for every rejection on a appeal a person makes, so don't even waste your time escalating it. I hate organisations like this trying to steal and scam from the public, it would be fair if I was unable to provide evidence, but I, like may others did their bit and they still rejected it. It's not right, please lets do what we can to take this organisation down.

I really hope these reviews raise alarm bells for auditors because this organisation as well as POPPLA are NOT practising a fair deal. They only make their money by scamming people. Mark my words, GROUP NEXSUS OR NEXUS GROUP count your days.

Parked at Woodfield's Retail Park Bury…

Parked at Woodfield's Retail Park Bury 23.12.24 did a bit of shopping at Tesco and other outlets on the park, Free parking for 3hrs bet I was there only about 1hr 30 mins come back to car and the whole park was gridlocked everyone struggling due to RTC , took over 2hrs 30mins to exit park. got PCN from Nexus for £100, worse thing is I've misplaced the PCN to complete pay or appeal and there is absolutely no way to communicate this, so appeal time slot will expire and with no options left will have to wait for pay or court proceedings, your credit rating will be firebombed by our faceless staff.

Shady business practices and racist…

Shady business practices and racist staff at moto services wetherby

I was only sent a reminder letter no first letter with a reduced fine

I have no issue paying fines ... however when a company attempted to rip off people is when they need to be exposed for criminal behaviour

Add to this an incident on Saturday 11th January were a group nexus staff member was extremely rude (swearing in a foreign language) and abused me on a racist level I would have let it go as I am not a snowflake but seeing as there have been numerous complaints about this man and his behaviour it's time something was done about it ...
I have contacted group nexus via email as you cannot call them regarding these two incidents but I will soon be posting the ceo's home address and phone numbers as such a serious incident should be dealt with immediately!
An update will follow
