Misleading website

Ordered replacement dishwasher hose direct from website. Hose was shown as in stock and that it would be delivered the following day, so plumber booked. Hose was eventually despatched 3 days later, still waiting for it to arrive. Don’t believe what you see / read on their website.

Will I ever get my refund

I needed a replacement bottom drawer and drawer front for my grundig freezer and thought it would be better to order direct from grundig. First big mistake. What should have been a simple transaction is now an ongoing saga. On 30th August I ordered the required bottom drawer and drawer front. For context, bottom freezer drawers are deeper than both top and middle drawers so the drawer fronts are not interchangeable. The drawer front description did not specify any dimensions but I assumed that they would understand that a bottom drawer required a bottom drawer front. Second big mistake. They were delivered in reasonably good time, however, the drawer front did not fit the drawer itself as I had in fact been sent the drawer front for the middle/top drawer. I emailed them pointing out that the bottom drawer is deeper than the middle/top drawers and to ask if they had the correct size drawer front but they replied that what they had sent was compatible with my model of freezer. Somewhat frustrated I was forced to send them photos to demonstrate that even it the part was compatible with my model, it was the wrong front for the drawer I’d purchased. They then agreed to refund me and arranged for dpd to collect it. They emailed me when they received it and said my refund would be paid in 3-5 working days. That was on 14th September so I should have received my refund by 22nd. I let a good amount of time lapse before contacting them to allow for any delay due to the bank holiday for the queen’s funeral. So 8 working days later I contacted them to enquire why my refund had not been paid. They replied that my refund would actually take 10-14 working days. They then mansplained what a working day was. I was not impressed and replied that this was not acceptable. I pointed out that I paid for the item at the time of ordering not 10-14 days later. I then received a response on 5th October stating that my refund would take a further 5-7 working days. So as of now I have still not received a refund for an item they received back on 14th September. In the meantime I ordered and received the correct part from eBay. No fuss, no hassle and it was cheaper. Avoid this lot. They appear to be unable to fill an order correctly, answer a direct question or process a refund in a timely fashion. The term incompetent comes to mind.
