We are privileged to act as distributors for most of the leading brands within our industry and our NTTA approved workshops can offer a range of services from towbar installation to caravan insurance repairs – with a waiting room for those ‘while-you-wait’ jobs. We keep stocks of various domestic and commercial use trailers - a hire fleet too - and, since the closure of our Potters Bar shop, we have an extensive range of roof racks & roof boxes under one roof at our shop between Hatfield and the village of Welham Green.

Excellent Service
I made a booking over the phone to service an Ifor Williams HB506 horse trailer, bought from GT Towing in 2022. Booking in was simple and efficient with good availability of appointments. At the time of booking I needed a tow bar fitted to a new vehicle and was provided with a very competitive quote to complete this in addition to the trailer service.
I can’t fault this company for how efficient they are. The booking in process was simple and well organised. A pleasant waiting area is provided while servicing is carried out, and I received a text notification when it was complete.
All features and safety points were highlighted to me along with details of warranty.
A thorough service, with excellent selection of products and services all in house at sensible prices.

Professional and helpful
From start to finish GT Towing were professional courteous and helpful. The two hour slot I booked for my towbar fitting was a pleasure, waiting room excellent with free, hot drinks.
A week later, I turned up with a trailer that I had purchased online which had some issues. They didn’t have to help me, but they did and we’re happy to! no charge!
It’s companies like this that give me faith. Thanks GT Towing

Detatchable Tow Bar fitting…..
Please note I am not connected or affiliated to GT Towing and never used this company before but felt I needed to share my experience with others…
Spoke to Lucas at GT Towing with regards having a tow bar fitted to my car. He gave me everything I needed to know from what tow bar, what will be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost to allow me to proceed and book a date for fitment.
Today was figment day and I arrived early before the appointment as instructed.
Everything was waiting for me. James checked me in and fully informed me of what will happen to how long it would take, where the toilets were, where I could wait in their waiting room and also advising of the free vending machine for drinks etc.
Then my car was taken away while I waited in their waiting room with free access to GT Towing’s WiFi.
On Que the car was ready waiting for me at the front of the shop forecourt while a text message had informed me that I could collect it when ready.
Tom went through some well rehearsed instructions on what was carried out and how the tow bar could be fitted and removed as well as what I needed to do if there was an issue. He also explain what was done to the electronics and how it would show up on my dash should there be an error in any of the lights on the trailer etc.
These guys are well rehearsed and a professional outfit I will no doubt used again.
Just wanted to thank Lucas, James and Tom for doing a Stirling job for GT Towing which makes a customer feel valued.
