I rented a car with this company
I rented a car with this company, Rentîles car hire Guadeloupe and the car supplier was Jimmys for 8 of January 2026 paid in full plus top insurance cover, then I got sick, and on 4 of January had emailed them to cancel by booking due to illness issues, this was 4 days before, they never replied to my emails then on the day 8 of January when I arrived there I was feeling better I have contacted them then day said that my reservation was cancelled and I should receive the money,
When I got back to UK I have contacted them because I never received any money, they told me that I wasn’t entitled to anything except the money I paid for the insurance, because I had cancelled only 4 days before the date and there policy was 7 days, before I had booked this car I had looked everywhere and it doesn’t mention anywhere that you can not cancel after 7 days, also I never got the money of the insurance back!!
This company is not a trusted company, they are not transparent and I don’t recommend it to anyone.
