These guys are out of touch

This company feels completely out of touch with where the music industry is headed. Their systems, policies, and overall mindset come across as outdated and rigid, more like dinosaurs trying to operate in a fast moving, modern landscape.

Instead of adapting to new workflows, emerging technology, and the realities artists and labels face today, they rely on blanket flagging and rejection rather than collaboration or flexibility. There is little transparency, and innovation seems to be an afterthought.

In an industry that is evolving rapidly, this platform feels stuck in the past. Artists and partners looking for forward thinking solutions should be aware that this is not a company built for the future.

They’re scammers

They’re scammers. They’ll steal your money and ban your account and lie about the reason just to take your royalties. They’re just scammers.

Distribution disasters, ongoing and getting worse

I had high hopes for this Australian music distribution company, but they repeatedly fail to meet my expectations. One of my releases was ruined after they released an actual DEMO VERSION of my song, that was used as a placeholder track and subsequently replaced. I did everything right and they didn’t, yet there was next to no accountability. I had to contact my fanbase and tell them NOT to purchase or stream my release, throwing the whole thing into chaos and destroying my publicity campaign.

There have been many issues. Artist Separations, for example. When I first contacted them, the staff member proudly told me that they usually take 2 weeks to fix. Well, it has been well over 6 months now for one site, and I was simply told to “be patient” in an email. Appalling.

I am currently waiting for them to get back to me, after emails regarding new planned releases were met with no useful response or were ignored, plus several phone calls went unanswered. It has been weeks and weeks.

I strongly suspect that their business is failing but they haven’t the decency to advise their long-standing customers. I am writing this review out of desperation in the hope that they might actually wake up and call me.

So far, fair company - Great support service.

I moved all our music to Gyrostream.
So far it's been good and, despite not having received a solution to unlock the email that spotify blocked me (due to an horrible experience with LANDR), they have been promptly and constantly helping my situation.

REAL and HUMAN support service. Not the cheapest service, not the perfect one, but as long as there is a person (thanks Alex) that provides constant support when needed, I am happy to pay a tiny bit more.

Remember, if your music is important to you, look for companies that hire humans to follow your distribution.

Not 5 stars as I want to see how the first payments go and how Gyrostream will evolve during the new AI developements.
