Harmful business practices
The stylist charges an exorbitant amount to simply make an appointment. Buried within the terms of the website is that this payment to hold your appointment is non refundable. I canceled 2 weeks in advance and weeks later saw that the charge was still on my card. When I called to see why this was I was told the policy is what it is. And that you can apply the amount to a new service. When I tried to apply the amount to a new service the owner refused to reply to my requests for weeks. Even as I write this, months later, the owner has my deposit. I have no service and they do not deny this. The owner should make it absolutely clear on the website before a purchase is made that the hold for the appointment is non refundable. Anything less than this is just a disgusting, harmful business practice that I have not seen anywhere else for a similar business. Not a trustworthy business. They want to take your money for doing nothing and it is wrong.
