I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while as we had our kitchen fitted in 2020!

Our experience of these guys was really wonderful. Billie was friendly and helpful from day one and nothing was too much trouble.

The install was a bit staggered and drawn out but in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Everyone that comes round complements us on the kitchen and 4 year on it still looks great.

Would definitely recommend these guys.

My kitchen is now five years old and looks as good as the day it was completed. It was worth every penny! Highly recommend Nick and his company.

I came across Handmade Kitchen (HMK)company during my year long research. I had a good idea of what I wanted and had met with a number of companies but although they met 80% of my requirements, I was not prepared to settle for that. HMK were brilliant from start to finish, they listened to what I wanted, made some good suggestions. Billy helped to design the kitchen and Nick gave some great suggestions. Although I made a few changes post initial design, they were accommodating. Paige was my key contact for communication, she was very response and a joy to engage with and in fact I felt I was the only client as I received responses straight away. We experienced no stress and nothing was too much trouble and infact they made some brilliant suggestions and handled all the appliances and Worktops. My kitchen surpassed my expectations and I continue to get so many positive comments. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality, bespoke kitchen at a very good price. Huge thank you to the HMK team!

family-run business in Essex. Instantly as you drive up to the showroom you are surrounded with beautiful views, cute animals and friendly people. I was perusing my dream of a handmade
kitchen and came across this company online. Having seen their very friendly and useful website, I made a call and booked an appointment to visit their showroom. The process was simple, any questions I had they were answered efficiently and the design was something I never imagined! I now have a wonderful handmade kitchen that's truly bespoke, suits mine and my family needs and is
the party central! The craftsmanship is second to none! Thank you so much to all the team at HMK you have truly made my dreams come true! I highly recommend!

Handmade kitchen company were truly fantastic from start to finish!
I visited their Bishop Stortford showroom in Feb 2022 and was wowed as soon as I walked through the door.
I had a few works to be done on our property before we could start the kitchen but Handmade Kitchen Company kept in contact and had great communication every step of the way.
Billie, the designer, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Paige was there whenever we needed and Louis, their fitter, had a wealth of knowledge and experience. He was very understanding through the installation and answered all our questions.
The business is small and family run and this definitely shows in the level of care they put in.
Overall, I am thrilled with my kitchen and would highly recommend Handmade Kitchen Company for your bespoke kitchen needs!

Where do I start!? I admit, I have taken some time before writing this review as we signed-off our kitchen installation in September 2022, but myself and my wife could not be happier with the service received from The Handmade Kitchen Co since we started discussions back in 2021 which seems like such a long time ago now.

The kitchen design provided initially could not have been closer to our dream requirements and what we had in our minds, with just some small adjustments and finalising details with Billie & Paige and we had a design that could be sent to the workshop.

The timescales were very acceptable and we ourselves caused some big delays due to our builders finishing behind schedule, but HMK Co were very accommodating of this.

The installation went smoothly and we were blown away with how our house went from an empty building site to a beautiful and stunning space that we live in every day, we have to pinch ourselves sometimes that we are not living in a dream, when in fact it is our daily reality...fantastic!

We highly recommend HMK Co to anyone looking for a bespoke kitchen, because that is clearly where they stand out!

I LOVE my new bespoke kitchen, it finishes off my home in Chelmsford superbly! Great bunch of people at Hand Made Kitchen. Nick was a pleasure to work with, very friendly and an honest bloke. Cannot fault the service, truly unique experience. Thank you.

This is a review for Handmade kitchens in Epping,
I must be fair and say overall I do have a nice kitchen, but it did cause us a lot of unnecessary hassle and stress. It started to go wrong very quickly due to lack of communication from them. As for the fitter - on lots of levels there was no care at all. One example - we were not consulted as to where we would like the handles placed on cabinets & drawers, something I really had an issue with, after all we too were mis-sold on their promise of communication & customer care throughout! TEN handles in total were put in the wrong place or not level, we had to take a few handles off & noticed big double holes so they were truly botched. To cut a long story short most of the problems were rectified, but more because we persevered, rather than the owner admitting it was unacceptable. He didn't really acknowledge any fault or responsibility on their side, so that was frustrating.
The extras really added up so be careful with that - I did feel we were "done" a bit especially when we were paying extra for the paint (£300+) for a PAINTED kitchen as seen in the showroom, more fool us!

handmade kitchens "talk the talk" however they certainly don't "walk the walk" when it comes to design, build and customer service. For their kitchens. Unfortunately we got suckered in to paying their upfront large deposit. On reflection we would have been better off loosing this and going with another company. The (paid for)design service was just an exercise in mis-measurement, the build was sloppy and rushed, the painting the same. The most amusing bodge occurred when the handmade boiler housing cabinet was too short and the company owner suggested we paint the bottom of the boiler to match the wall!- after a lot of hassle he begrudgingly agreed to make a new cabinet which from the quality of the materials probably cost him under £100. We ended up having to hold some money back as one of our new tiles were broken by the fitter- once again with stressful arguments. Just because a company has a nice website doesn't mean they are a quality outfit- don't get suckered in like us...avoid this lot like the plague!
