Staff are lovely food looks oerfect however it’s very bland need to season it , Allso charging £4.50 for extra’s ie a table spoon of peas is ridiculous then an extra £4.50 for a small amount of mash potatoes that’s £9 on top of your bill . I got 2 carrots hidden under the greens , like I said presentation I’d give 10 out if 10 but the chef needs to season the food especially the gravy is bland and the gravy makes the dinner

have eaten there several times, always nice, good portions and service. Always recommend the place the people visit the area as its great food and views.

Visited the restaurant for lunch on 14 November with friends. Staff were friendly and polite, service was excellent and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend for meat eaters the Tomahawk steak cooked to perfection 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and unbelievable value for money.

One of our regular places to visit for good quality food with great service. Booked last night in terrible weather and the venue was very busy. Best steaks ever. The desserts are also amazing.

We were a table of 4, reserved the day before. When we were seated we were told that there was a half hour wait for food, an hour later the food arrived, 3 fish & chips and a vegetarian option, I asked which was the veggie, only to be told they all looked the same, the server took mine back to the kitchen, I was then told sorry but you’ll have to wait whilst chef cooks the veggie one.
By the time mine arrived my husband and friends had almost finished theirs.
To be honest by this time I was pretty passed it, nevertheless I tucked in, the banana blossom was nice, unfortunately some of my chips were raw, I’d lost the will by this stage, when I told the server, she said she would take the feedback to chef.
To be fair, my husband and friends enjoyed theirs and had no problems.
We didn’t stay for dessert, we’re local and will not be returning, had the restaurant offered at least a discount, it would have gone some way to making up for the wait and raw chips. We own a guesthouse 5/10 minutes walk away, won’t be recommending this place to our guests anytime soon sadly. You win some, you lose some.

Unreliable restaurant that you should avoid. I phoned up before hand and they told me the times they served food. So in rush hour traffic with road works i drove down. It took one and a half hours to drive and when i got there the bar maid just said” the chefs gone home. We’re not doing food now”. Not even an apology. They had closed the restaurant early. This is not the first time they have done this as you will see if you read the reviews on their fb pages.
