Poor customer service set up, and very slow postage. I had a bad experience and won't be back in a hurry.

Poor communication regarding when an item has been shipped, and when to expect item. Upon ordering the item was listed as arrives within 5 business days. When the item hadn’t arrived I requested an update and was told item will be delayed a further 10 business days. I was never supplied a valid tracking number, only invalid numbers that led to dead end websites. After many messages and unacceptable responses, I demanded a postal tracking number that I could look up myself. Finally one was provided today showing item was posted yesterday. This now shows me all communications about item arriving was a lying.
Please do not waste your money with this company. Very bad experience. Wish I had read the other reviews

I ordered a special gift for a Milestone birthday..was due to arrive in 4-5 days, having paid extra for Express Courier service. It is now 2 weeks and no sign of it. When asked for updates on the website, all I got was a bland response, appears to be robot generated....still waiting to talk to a real person from the company despite multiple requests...The Hard to Find is living up to its Name...Yet to receive the order!!!

To be ruthlessly pragmatic, the only "twist" or "distinction" about this business is the ability to have your products "engraved". It's a glorified drop shipping company, probably set up by a bored Doctors wife in the eastern suburbs who is inbetween charity luncheons and needed a side project, so she got her 21yo IT son to set it up for her over his university break.
A quick reverse image search online will quickly reveal that the majority of their products are 100% identical to Etsy, Alibaba or EBay, yet marked up by 40% (or more). Hell, I saw an identical overnight leather bag on Catch.com.au for half the price....hardly an elusive find.
A savvy shopper can easily find these "hard to find" products, order them from India/Malaysia etc and take them to Mr Minit or their local leather goods shopping mall popup store and have them "branded" for a fraction of the price.
I think the website caters to narcissistic individuals who feel the need to "mark their territory" by having their postcode and name embossed on everything from their luggage to their cheese board. Really? Do my guests need to know I live in an affluent suburb? Would it cheapen the cheeseplatter if my suburb was Auburn, Sydney?
It screams a histrionic need for validation and in this day and age of social media attention whores, where everything must be "Instagrammable" , the website caters to that ASD, BPD, upper middle class cashed-up bogan who is running as fast as they can from their lower class roots and filling their inner city townhouse/semi with crap, masquerading as bespoke items. Trying to impress your guests with "stuff" isnt the secret to life.
Most of my wealthy friends (9 figure net worth) understand that it's not embossed goods that signal wealth. I mean we all get around looking like bums on our yachts, it's our business connections and achievements that define us...not a house full of crap that will be thrown out in 5 years tim
Spending money they don't have,
Buying things they don't need
To impress people they don't like
This website is filling that empty hole/hungry ghost/status thirst that they cannot seem to quench.
Purchased a tin planter pot, arrived severely damaged. I have purchased many items on line but this company’s packaging was the worst by far, the box looked like it had been re-used on several occasions, very little protection around the item and to date their feedback has been dismal.

Hard to Find operate like a catalogue and take no responsibility for the performance of their sellers. I have been chasing a missing order since July with the seller and cannot even contact Hard to Find.

I recently purchased a gift from Hardtofind. There was a delay with my order as the seller is based in the UK, but they were so helpful and communicative about everything and they even popped a small bonus gift in with my order! Such great service. I'll be shopping from Hardtofind again.

This is honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not waste your money buying through them. The sellers do not pay for signature via the post, so my items were stolen from a mailbox in the CBD and they would not take any responsibility or provide a replacement or refund. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. You are better off throwing your money in a bin.
I've ordered a few things from this site and everything turned up on time or earlier than expected. Would recommend!!!!
This website never lets me down! I recently needed a personalised gift for my mum and found the perfect product that was just so beautiful and unique. I also had to edit my order after I purchased it and the Customer Service team were quick to help me and so efficient. I really can't fault this site!
These guys have world class service! the product arrived way ahead of schedule and was even better than I expected. I am going to be buying all my gifts from hardtofind in the future.
Had a good experience, all items I ordered were delivered in a timely way and personalisation was spot on. Only fault would be that everything was delivered separately, would have been better to get it all in one parcel. Otherwise good, will use again.
BAD, BAD, BAD! Avoid at all costs. I ordered personalised thongs. I realised I mispelt the name to be inscribed only several hours after placing the order. The order had been placed on the Saturday night and in the early hours of Sunday morning I had notified both Hardtofind and Identity Direct, the company responsible for the order. Three days later I received an email saying it was too late to amend the order. What a joke!
DO NOT ORDER WITH THESE LAZY PEOPLE! Either they do not read their emails or do not care in the least! AVOID!
I have shopped from Hard To Find three times now and I can't fault the product selection or service. Very pleased with my recent purchase - a beautiful leather wallet and earrings for my wife.
I ordered a gift in the early hours of 30th May. It was finally delivered on 21st June. I wrote twice with no response and finally after 3 emails I got a response from Hard to Find.
The gift was "off the shelf" with nothing personalised so I see no reason why it took so long to be dispatched from and to an address in Australia.
As it was a gift for a new baby it was partly out of date by the time it arrived.
2 stars instead of 1 because they had records of when it was shipped.
The WORST online shopping experience of my life.
From lying about shipping dates, false arrival dates, shocking communication and a complete lack of empathy when it came to resolving my issues I can honestly say that this organisation is the worst I have EVER come across.
If you're looking for a unique, personalised gift I implore you to look elsewhere, if you're expecting it by a certain date or would like to make any changes to your order whatsoever, you can forget about it. They will take your money, reply to your emails once a week and the best you will get is a $20 voucher for your next purchase. Horrible, horrible experience and rude customer service.
