AVOID!

AVOID!! The worst customer service and experience I have had. A new pair of trousers were ruined, and when asked to refund I was told I would be contacted to only be ignored, hoping it would all go away. I paid for a service that I did not get. The staff and owner were extremely unprofessional, rude and negligent. Do not use, as they take no accountability when shrinking your clothes!

Harlow Dry cleaners in Bishops…

Harlow Dry cleaners in Bishops Stortford seem to be unable to follow the most basic of requests. They offer a tailoring service and I asked for two pairs of new suit trousers to have the waist taken in.
I carefully asked for the waists of the trousers to be reduced to 35inches.
When I picked up the trousers I measured, before leaving the shop, the waist size, which was measured at 34 inches, one inch too small. The shop assistant re-measured the trousers to arrive at the figure of 35 inches? How can this be I hear you ask? She was measuring the OUTSIDE of the trousers, not the inside where my waist would be! She adamantly refused to accept she was wrong. I went home, tried on the trousers, which I could get on, but a tad too tight and not the 35 inches requested. I took the trousers back and asked for them to be let out to the original request of 35inches. The next day I received a tele call from "manager" and another person who were adamant again that they were right and I was wrong, so I ended up asking they do as was requested initially (which I had already paid for) and I would pick them up. A couple of days later I returned to pick up the trousers, for which there was no charge, to be told that "My custom was no longer required"! That suited me as I do find it difficult to deal with people who are so belligerent that they see no error in their work and service.
My advice would be to just STAY AWAY from those people. Poor service, poor attitudes and a very poor service.
