Not the cheapest but it is a quality product, a previous machine lasted over 10 years. Ability to switch easily between two kinds of beans was nice to have.

Usual high quality from Jura with two grinders - allowing us to switch between Caf & Decaf.

A great machine if you use two different types of beans. We are coffee lovers, but one half of the family loves normal coffee, and the rest decaf. Rather than using ground decaf beans, and adding it to the chute manually every time, we can now load up normal beans in one grinder and decaf in the other. The machine saves your preferences, and you can even label them with everyone's names if you wish, automatically selecting the bean, strength and quantities of coffee (and milk). Screen takes a bit of getting used to as its 3 separate displays linked up as one (not sure why they didn't just use one big display?) – but this same setup is also on the more expensive semi-commercial Giga machine. Coffee tastes great, enough options to keep everyone busy. The sweet syrup attachment is handy if you wish for the milk foam to be mixed as its being made - the alternative is to just squirt it directly into the cup. When you select the sweet option on the machine, it adds a reminder to clip on the attachment prior to making the drink and remove when finished – I believe this attachment also fits on other machines with a similar size milk nozzle, even if it doesn’t come with the software prompt. The machine is connected by Wi-Fi so you can link your phone up to it – whether this is necessary currently is still up in the air, as the speciality coffees still require some user intervention on the machine rather than just doing it all automatically on the app. If you are in the market for a decent quality machine and have roughly this sort of budget, you cant go wrong with this model, or the regular J8 which does without the two grinders. The next model up is the Z10 which can do cold brews, so is another one to consider.
