I'm not sure what make this more hygienic it's still only the same rubber hose as I used before its just the appearance?

Simple stainless sleeve over plastic internal pipe. It works well and, once I had worked out which end I needed to fix into the hose to connect to the machine - and removed one of the original ends, it was good to go.
