The smooth rounded design has a 1.5 litre capacity and thanks to the double wall construction will keep boiled water hotter for longer as well as reducing noise whilst the water is boiling (which the 3000w concealed heating element will make quick work of). The comfortable, soft grip handle accommodates the button which releases the soft-open lid and a back-lit water window allows you to boil just the desired amount of water needed. The kettle sits on a 360° base allowing for easy left or right handed use. The base also features the adjustable temperature setting slider which gives you control over the temperature you want your water to reach - from 50°C up to 100°C. This is perfect for when you are infusing delicate teas such as green tea which would be ruined if you poured on boiling water, whereas a coarse Assam leaf will benefit from a hotter temperature water A stylish temperature gauge on the side of the kettle wall means you can see the exact temperature of your water even when the kettle is removed from its base. Love this kettle. It does not just boil to 100 degrees but can be set to slightly lower temperatures for different teas. It makes a soft ping when it has boiled to let you know it has finished. Looks fabulous in my kitchen.

Bought this kettle to go with our toaster and mixer, fits in well, very quiet and cool to touch even when just boiled. Was slightly disappointed that the finish is not as shiny as the toaster or mixer.

Great kettle, really does keep it really hot for ages. I think after something like 45 minutes it was still about 75/80 degrees. It is also VERY quiet compared to our old kettle. Love that you can see what temp it is at any time.

I had this kettle before. Lasted 3 years but stopped working. However I had purchased matching toaster which is fine so decided to buy another kettle the same. Expensive purchase so do hope it lasts a bit longer this time.
