As described, I bought this for my existing kitchen aid mixer, the glass mixing bowl is great for making bread and cake mixes.

Expensive for a glass bowl but that is not the fault of Harts of Stur. That issue is kitchen aids issue for being overly and unnecessarily expensive. The bowl is glass for pity sake one of the planets cheapest resources.
