My previous Stellar 1000 pan had lasted over 35 years and was wonderful; in fact it probably still is as it disappeared from outside the house when I sadly had to part with it after getting an induction hob. Despite flirting with a couple of cheap non-stick pans that looked like the surface of the moon, there was general dissatisfaction when it came getting them clean. The Stainless Steel Stellars had been so easy to use and always came good no matter what culinary disaster they'd been subjected too, so seeing the price I could buy them for from Harts I jumped at the chase to replace them. The new pans are induction compatible and otherwise identical to the last ones; the gods are happy now and order has been restored to the kitchen.
