Overpriced and under powered equipment and absolutely dreadful customer service. For god's sake don't damage or lose the included CD containing the drivers. If you do then you may as well throw your expensive piece of electronics in the bin because unlike most other companies you can't just download the drivers from customer support - you have to pay for them. I have two Hauppauge TV cards that are useless because Hauppauge are a penny pinching company that will stiff you for every penny or cent that they can and I refuse to pay again for something that almost everyone gives away for free because they understand that driver discs do get misplaced or damaged.. Very bad experience with Hauppauge and will not purchase from them again.

Absolutely dreadful support.

Sent a fault tuner board. Spent ages going round in circles getting the penny to drop that their board was faulty having to swat away the predictable canned excuses. Then finally had to send the board back at my expense, to only wait two and a half weeks for an apparent replacement. They apparently sent a replacement somewhere else where someone else presumably signed for it.

Their belated response... I have to pivot from chasing them to chasing the post office now.

Great support from Hauppauge Dartford on my mySmarthome controller which was refusing to go back online having worked initially.

They asked me to send it in to them, they got it working, updated the firmware and sent it back.

When it still did not work at my end they correctly diagnosed a power supply problem which went away when I tried the 5v power supply from my Hudl tablet instead of the original one.
