Disappointing lunch and rude service with hidden costs

When we first arrived they only gave us an option to purchase from a 45.00 per head menu. I had to ask for the a la carte. Then we were told we were not allowed to purchase the dining option 2 courses for 26.00 even though there was no print telling us we could not. Our waiter was extremely rude and when we asked for tap water for the table he said it was too busy. We were told to hurry up and place our order. The service throughout was bad and again from a rude server. At the end of the meal we were given the bill and there was an additional 2.00 per person charge on top of the service charge after having abssymal service. I would recommend a refund. It spoilt out team lunch and i expect more from them

Food poisoning

My son and daughter fell seriously sick, and suffered with vomiting and diarrhoea after eating at this restaurant. It has been extremely difficult to speak to the manager who has avoided discussing the matter. when i did finally get hold of her she did not return the call when she said. Because of this poor customer service i have reported it to the local borough food agency. i will still continue to try and resolve this with the restaurant and will update review on any outcomes. This is the branch in Bishopgate
