THIEFS!

I ordered a computer from them on 6-JAN-2010. I received an email same day with my invoice number. That same day or the next the money was withdrawn from my checking account. Later that same week I went onto their web site and tried to create an account so that I could check the status of my order but was unable to. After filling in all required information and hitting the submit button the same info screen just kept reappearing. I called them and talked to a “Dustin” who was very apologetic and stated that they were getting a new shipment of computers in and that I would receive an email the following Friday with my shipping status, I received no email, nothing. I have not been able to contact anyone since. The only thing you now get is an answering machine. I have contacted their local BBB and filed a report. I contacted their local Chamber of Commerce. I contacted their town’s local newspaper to look into this company so that others are not ripped off. I also found out that they had a store on eBay so I contacted eBay and let them know what was going on.

EXTREMELY DISHONEST!

I bought a laptop and a two-year extended warranty in Oct. 2009. Have tried to contact HCDI for 3 weeks regarding warranty issue. Phone number has been disconnected. Emailed everyday, but no reply. So I guess I'm screwed out of any company support. Not a company I will ever do business with again and advise against buying from them.

The price is NOT right

I run an insurance office. we needed to up date all (4)of our computers at one time with more memory and xp pro. The price from HCDITRADING seemed perfect. I bought the warranty , you know, just in case. Well go figure the computers are having issues (10-12 mos later)and the phone number is diconnected 866-853-4234. one of the computers, I had them install additional memory in. it stopped working after 6 mos.they wouldnt return my calls or emails (this was about 4-10) I had to have some one else service it. The problem it turned out to be the memory chip THEY installed. Stay away from this company. I would have given them a 1 (borderline fraud), only they did service one of the computers, in 2009. It took several calls on my part.

worse company I have ever delt with

I work for a small production company & deal with 20-30 different vendors, I recieve items from all over the country and this is the worse company for customer service I have every delt with & I deal with a lot & thought I had seen the worse, I had not, HCDI is it! I ordered a laptop
1-20-10, took 1 1/2 weeks just to see status change to " to ship" I called was informed it took 10-12 business days to ship, okay, I was not is a hurry since price was right. 3 weeks later, still waiting to ship, I called, was told due to snow & ice storms, Fedx would not allow their drivers to deliver computers to HCDI? I live in a snowy area, sure never stopped my deliveries from coming? but thought since their in Texas, probably cannot deal with bad weather as well, another week goes by, called, no answer, was emailed back & promised would ship 1-3 days, nothing came, status still same, callled for 7 days straight, could never reach anyone, recording said due to power outages, they could not open or ship? Also voice mail was full, so could not leave message, final gave up & disputed charge with credit card company, even tried to call again today 3-19-10, no answer, message said unable to ship to backorders? due yourself a favor & don't ever deal with this company, not worth saving $20 or $30 bucks, by the way, I still needed a computer, delt with overstocklaptop.com, had computer to me in 2 days with free shipping, computer is excellet, this company HCDI is border line fradulent & liars, they are the worse

Never Do Business With This Company

On 26 Jan 2010 I ordered a refurbished computer. HCDI charged my credit card THAT DAY, not like other online companies I deal with that charges my card when they ship. After two weeks I went to the website and used their track order function. The computer responded that a password would be sent to my email...NOTHING. I sent several emails canceling my order and asking to credit my card...NOTHING. I then called the company; first time I left a voice message... the second time I called the mail box was FULL. I have NEVER got a response from anyone. Have filed a disputed charge with my credit card company.

Worst and dishonest company ever!

Ordered 10 desktop computers and monitors on Jan 5 for a business I am starting. Was told they will be shipped out as soon as possible but within the next 10 days. Called after 10 days because I did not receive a tracking number. Said they will be shipped out tommorrow. Tomorrow came and went and still no tracking info. Called again, was told that 'the truck did not come in yesterday, but they will be going out today' Again, no tracking number nothing shipped. Called again and spoke with their "Sales Director" who it seems is a compulsive liar. Again was told that they will be going out tomorrow. This is the same lie I have been receiving from this company for 3 weeks since the date of purchase. Today the "president" called me back and apologized profusely and promised delivery in 3 days. In light of everything that has gone down over the last 3 days, I told her that the only way I will beleive any of them will be with her providing me a tracking number showing that this order will be shipped out overnight. She had the so called "Sales Director" call me back and explain that they cannot do this. He kept apologizing and then couldn't understand why his apologies are not good enough. Had to call the credit card company and dispute this charge to get a refund. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WANT TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE!

hcdi is dishonest and will lie to keep a sale

Ordered this laptop on Sun, Dec 20th. Called on Monday the 21st to confirm order status. Was told that day that order was being processed and was to ship that day. Called 2 days later to see if the laptop was going to make delivery in time for Christmas but was told “Due to high order volume and the holidays not being “business days” I wouldn’t receive it until the first week of January, this was disappointing because the computer was a Christmas present for my fiancée who is studying medicine. I also asked if it could be overnighted but was told they couldn't do that. Huh? I then called again after Christmas to check up on the order and the guy said that the computer was expected to arrive on Tue, Jan 5th or Wed, Jan 6th (going on the 2 ½ week mark). On Tuesday Jan 5th My father called on the order and now was told that the computer was never shipped and all laptops were out of stock and on back order and they were expected to arrive at their location for a week. This we were kept in the dark about. All this time we were waiting for a laptop that was never even in stock or shipped. I was not happy to hear that I was lied to the whole time. On wed, Jan 6th I called and asked about what was going on with my order, He got rude with me and said it will be a LEAST a week before they got their stock. I then asked why we were never told about the laptops being on back order and that I was told it was supposed to be on its way. The guy rudely says “well do you want it or do you want a refund!?” He was not at all interested in helping me and he sounded very annoyed that I was calling about a laptop I ordered that was now about 2 weeks late for delivery. Canceled order and got money refunded, This is the worst vendor I have ever dealt with!

They told me for 2 weeks that the laptop was shipped when they never had it in stock! Thats why they couldn't overnight my order, they had no computers to overnight but it took them 2 weeks to tell me that after numerous phone calls. Only admitted they had no computers when I was a
