Rude, Aggressive, Arrogant, Impolite swearing staff
I would like you to note that I just suffered a rude aggressive, swearing employee, who verbally attacked me and physically attacked and damaged my. The main phone number on the website does not work, so I cannot contact the company directly.
All I would ask is some anger management for the guys in high vis. I appreciate they are doing a job and trying to move a very large vehicle into a very small space, however but being rude, aggressive, and swearing at me when I simply asked how long it was going to be (because there was a ten-minute detour I could have taken) was inexcusable.
This occurred on Oak Street, Norwich, just after 10am, 23rd June 2025. The guy was in orange high vis, bald with glasses, and standing towards the dual carriageway side of Oak Street. After the lorry had stopped blocking the highway and the road was now clear I moved forward to pass having waited ten minutes and this aggressive man then bizarrely and jumped at my van so that he could be close enough to elbow the mirror and then punched the side of the van, swearing in a very aggressive and threatening manner. The presence of half a dozen other aggressive guys didn't help the situation.
This man needs anger management and dealing with the public training. This sort of aggression was never needed. After he started shouting so did several of the other staff who also shouted aggressively and swore.
There was an easy detour around the block which I would have been happy to take had the guy been willing to explain or discuss with me. At the first point of contact when I politely enquired how long it was going to be, his response was rude, aggressive, he swore, and would not answer – “it’ll be as ***** long as it is” was his reply, before then refusing to talk, and moving from my driver’s window to stand cross armed looking away from me, directly in front of the van. I was polite and calm at all times. Your staff member was rude and aggressive from the instant I arrived. It was clear there was a difficult manoeuvre being undertaken, and clear the driver was really struggling having to make multiple attempts. Every one has jobs to do, but this situation was entirely caused by your staff members unprofessional attitude.
