1300 MH CALL: A Death Sentence Disguised as "Help"

Last night, I was in a severe, life-threatening crisis, suffering from Serotonin Syndrome due to a prescribing error. I called 1300 MH CALL as a last resort, and the experience was nothing short of state-sanctioned negligence.
Within three questions, the sheer apathy from the intake staff made it clear: they don't care if you live or die. When the person at the front door of a 'crisis' line treats a medical emergency like an inconvenience, the entire system is rotted.
The Queensland mental health system is an outdated, broken machine that prioritises 'locking people up' over actual clinical care. They are dangerously incompetent and functionally useless for anyone in a real emergency. They don't deserve a cent of public funding when their 'support' is actually a gamble with people's lives.
To the medical 'professionals' running this: Your indifference almost killed me. You are a disgrace to healthcare. You shouldn't just be reviewed; you should be shut down before your 'receptionists' and clinical staff let someone else die."
