I really like this service. I appreciate the time the doctors take to answer questions and more. I used it tonight and many times in the past. Thank you, Healthtap!

Don't bother, find a more reputable site....
Made appointment online for 7pm on 11/16. Signed in at 6:45pm as directed to insure my PC was up to date, the appropriate software installed etc. I signed in and was promted to wait for my appointment. So naturally I awaited my appointment thinking that surely they'd let me know if my computer wasn't adequate or if I'd have problems. When 7pm arrived I got nothing more than the spinning wheel of death for 15 minutes and a prompt to update my browser. Upon trying this I saw I was using the most recent version of my browser. I attempted to "chat" with the doctor as there was a chatbox but received no response. I am in need of perscription refills and made every effort as instructed to be prepared but to no avail. Waste of time, find another site that is actually capable of doing a video appointment.
Recommend their service
This is great for people such as me who are yet insured. Dr.Liu listened, and did not rush into contact with the patient as the doctor should have done. I rarely recommand services, but healthtap has 100% of mine.
Only one star because we called at 10am…
Only one star because we called at 10am on Saturday and didn't get a call back until 6pm and them the pharmacy was incorrect (my error due to out of town). Tried to change it and got no response. Service line is t available on Saturday night or Sunday. Needed the prescription to fly home on Sunday night but did not get it. Suffered with UTI all night and all day and four hours on the plane because of lack of response. Terrible experience

Great for someone who currently isn't insured at the moment like myself. Doctor Tsai listened, didn't rush and actually engaged with his patient like doctors should. I rarely recommend services, but HealthTap has mine 100%.
SCAM!
SCAM!! I received a call from some Dr. I advised him of my symptoms (sinus infection) as I already knew. I told him I do well with Keflex. He said ok, will send in a prescription. Long story short.. no prescription EVER! No customer service department to talk to. Out $55 in less than 3 minutes!! Go to a urgent care, ER, something besides this one! Scam all over this one!

Fee started at 39.00 but somehow increased to 80.00. Total BS. Don't place your hope/trust nor invest your hard earned money in this. You will be cheated. I canceled my order immediately after discovering they increased their fee. Don't let them cheat you.
Having a regular doctor for every visit is everything.
HealthTap was recommended to me by a friend last spring when no one was leaving the house. It's come in incredibly handy when I needed my son to listen to reason after an injury - won't listen to mom, will listen to our HealthTap doctor. Pretty great to be able to have that conversation at a moments notice instead of waiting god knows how long for an appointment. Since we can keep a primary care doctor with HealthTap, its not some random app doctor I send him to for this stuff - it's the same doctor every time, so he listens. As a mother of a teenager this is worth A LOT more than $15 a month to me.
Really poor service
Really poor service. Expensive and gives google level advice. Won't save you a trip to a real doctor.

I got in contact with a doctor at 3:30am. They were able to prescribe me something and let me know what was going on. I’ll definitely use again.

Total scam
Total scam. Out 80 bucks, for nothing. No help. Then I went over to a clinic....got my scrips, and only paid 20 bucks. If I could choose not to give them a star at all I would do it in a heart beat!

Don't get this subscription
Don't get this subscription. It's a scam. Spoke with a doctor during a virtual visit about sinus congestion and pressure I was having and as soon as I mentioned that I missed work he didn't do anything to help me except write me a doctor's note excusing me from work for ONE DAY which was not a solution I was looking for. Ended up booking an in person visit at a CVS through the healthtap website, when I arrived for my appointment they could not find me in the system at the kiosk and had to check me in using paper forms because my information was no where to be found. Ended up paying $138 for the visit out of pocket which was supposed to be $30. The doctor i saw was amazing and was extremely knowledgeable and actually helped me with my symptoms instead of dismissing me with just a doctor's note when I had allergy induced bronchitis that had me out of work for an entire week. Healthtap is a scam and when I wrote them to explain my situation all they want to do is give me a $30 credit to my account which is not what I asked for. All I want is the money I've already given HEALTHTAP back and to cancel my subscription as I have figured out a different solution.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Do yourself a favor and just wait til your regular doctor's office or urgent care opens because this company stole 45 dollars from me, gave me a doctor that was incredibly rude, did absolutely nothing for my son who had the VERY COMMON stomach virus. He had been vomiting for hours and I called at 130am to see if we could get some generic zofran (this is what our primary care doctor gives us for stomach bugs) he proceeds to tell me that my son did not have the stomach bug and that it's extremely rare for school aged kids to get a stomach bug. I could not believe what I was hearing. If you're a parent you know, that stomach bug goes around like crazy in the elementary schools. Not only that but I had told him we were around a family member who had a confirmed case of a stomach virus 2 days prior. He STILL refused to believe my son had a tummy virus. He also said doctors don't give zofran to children, I responded with, our family doctor does Everytime we are hit with a stomach virus, he then proceeds to SHAME MY DOCTOR for giving us anti nausea medication and said she was a poor medical practitioner for it. At this point I'm done so I tell him ok I don't want this appt anymore and he interrupts me and says "FINE, YOU CAN THROW AWAY MY 16 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND DISREGARD ME, ILL WRITE THE PRESCRIPTION" to which I responded "absolutely not I do not want any prescription from you or your company, do not write a prescription." I hang up the video call and tend to my 8 yr old son crying on the bathroom floor because he can't stop throwing up and he is so so tired. I get a notification at 430AM from him and this company saying he wrote the prescription when I told him numerous times NOT TO. I know he only did it so he could ensure I couldn't get a refund for that train wreck of a Dr appt. This morning I asked for a refund and told the company my experience, they denied me a refund bc they said they didn't see anything wrong with what happened. I wrote back demanding a refund and told them I had the entire video conversation recorded and had showed family and friends and they too, were disgusted with that doctor! After I told them this they decided to refund me 30 dollars of the 45 I spent on that absolute nightmare of a doctor. I have no idea how he has a license. Shame on him and shame on this company. Disgraceful!
Unfortunately I had a terrible…
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this company. I was hoping to be able to use them for convenience in getting my prescriptions refilled. Needless to say it ended up costing me additional out of pocket, (a hard lesson learned.) To go into further detail, I had a prescription that was needing refilled (I get 180 pills each time as I need many, I take 6 pills per day of this medication.) Well the doctor for whatever reason decided to only write it for 30 pills and with instruction to only take 1 pill per day. *Those instructions if I followed them would likely kill me* lol so totally incorrect and with the number of pills issued this would only last me 5 days. I notified customer support of the issue immediately and they reached out to the physician, which it should also be noted once your visit is over you cannot reach back out to that physician yourself. To continue customer service did reach out to the doctor and the doctor stated he needed proof that I was taking that quantity and needed the prior prescription that was ordered. I contacted CVS where my prescription was filled the last time and had them send over the requested information. Doctor still denied my request after that. So now I've had to make an in person appointment at my normal physicians office and have wasted about 45 dollars for this "service." Do not bother requesting your money back and filling out the refund request, they wont even bother to read the request and deny it in what will be under 60 seconds. I do not recommend this company.

Great app
Great app, it didn’t have the specialists that I needed, so I got a full refund, no questions asked. Very nice costumer service. I’ll definitely buy this app again, when it gets the specialist that I need. Definitely recommend. Fast response from the doctors as well.

Scam me out of $80 so far ...I'd go elsewhere
I've used other services like this with great convivence. NOT HEALTHTAP...I've now been waiting 4 hours for my prescription to be placed. Just about no customer service to contact. My last email an hour ago said they were on the phone with the pharmacy , I called the pharmacy an hour later and they still haven't heard about my prescription... any other service would have had it done from prior experiences. Starting to feel I was scammed for $80 and my time. I'll try someone else next time. Service is not was is promised

cancelimg my prescription
I was sent a email from them, threatening to cancel my membership bc i called a doctor 3 times with a 7 day period. In the term description, it states that you have 5 visits to use within a 7 day period, before they warn you about canceling your prescription. Which I don’t even think is fair if we’re paying do so every month.

I really like this app. I was able to connect to the doctor quite easily. The experience was smooth. Another thing I really like is that it gives authentic information through a question and answer platform.
HealthTap is a must have
HealthTap got me in touch with a doctor in a smooth and seamless way. Not only were there extremely low wait times (less than 40 seconds), but they've provided me informational tools that gave me comfort in my diagnosis and helped me sleep at night. Glad to have a reliable application like HealthTap, and confident that I will be placed in professional hands in the future.
