Disgusting food
Disgusting food. Poorly cooked. Very little. Cold. Very expensive. I have the picture evidence to prove it.
State of Heathrow Terminal 4
Went to Heathrow Terminal 4. Was shocked to see the state of the airport! It looked extremely dilapidated. Did not realise that this airport had sunk low compared to our counterparts in other countries. Shame on whoever owns this airport not making this airport world class. Really sad to see the state of the roads around there as well and the buildings!
Heathrow Airport Security useless
I would like to give zero stars but unfortunately that is not possible.
I flew through the airport on 11th December 2025. During the security check I put my coat into one of the trays as directed by a member of staff.
When the tray emerged on the other side of the x-rays machine, my coat had fallen out and when I picked it up it had a rip under one of the buttons.
I was referred to one of the managers of the security checks who offered no apology, treated me like an inconvenience and said if I had not heard about my complaint in two weeks to call Heathrow (no details of a number etc). I spoke to another manager who showed mor interest and promised a quick response. I had an email while still waiting for my flight, asking for more information, which I provided. After many emails back and forth I was told that I would not receive any compensation and referred to the ADR. It turns out ADR does not deal with complaints against Heathrow, only certain airlines (not the one I used) and only with London City airport.
If you ever have any problems with the service provided by the airport, do not expect ANY support. Most useless Customer (?) service I can remember coming across!
Shameless establishment.
An embarrassment, ridiculous parking fees with zero assistance. Now they even charging people for a drop off, and already increased the fee. No investment in services to assist people, and instead heavily invested in catching people on cameras to extort money. It is hard to believe that whoever is responsible for managing this establishment gets away with it. This airport should be an example of excellence, but instead falls very short of other, even modest airports. I recently was picked up at one of European airports. When we were to pay for paring, the machine would not process the payment. I got quite traumatised, imagining the situation at Heathrow, but an assistant appeared from nowhere and reassured us that there was nothing to pay because the paring was not long enough.
Not good enough for our country’s premier airport
For our country’s premier airport, I think it is awful. Going through security took forever ( not enough trays) and the mechanics of the luggage being screened need looked at. Very slow. Then, on our return, took over 40 mins for our luggage to arrive. If this is all because of too many planes landing at same time, reschedule them! Gatwick is so much more efficient.
I wouldn’t use this airport again…
I wouldn’t use this airport again parking over priced it’s a pain to find parking! You get stuck in going in to drop off and have to pay to leave! You get charged ulez! Staff are so rude! Coming back was a night mare! Landed on the over side of the air port tock over a hour to get back to the car!
Security shouting at people
Security shouting at people, slamming bags and belongings down. Complained and was just told “we make every effort to ensure our passengers journey is as smooth as people”! Worst airport to travel through the staff are horrendous and poorly trained. Total shambles
T5 has gone mad
T5 has gone mad. There are all these different queues for check in. You stand in line for 30 minutes only to find you are in the wrong queue. There are queues for bag drop right next to queues that are for something else and no one helps or directs. It is rediculous. Staff are rude and obnoxious. But it is the system itself that is terrible. Way too many different types of service all not signposted so everyone queues the wrong things and is irate. So idiotic!!!!!!!!!!
Best Airport as Nexus Taxis/…
One of our best Airport as Nexus Taxis/ Airport Transfers in south yorkshire Barnsley and sheffield. We frequently drop and pick customer from Heathrew airport and had no issue. Always lots of parking and easy to pick and drop customers. Many more faclities available.
Terminal 4 toilets are absolutely…
Terminal 4 toilets are absolutely gross. Dirty Sanitary towels lying on the floor. Absolutely stunk! Poo stains. Unbelievably poor standards. Told the clearer who just shrugged. Disgusting and not a nice way to start holiday. Holiday my toilet for not being able to deal with hygiene 🤢. Overflowing sanitary bins are a big no no! As someone linked to the cleaning industry. Terminal 4 needs assistance!!!
Drop off charge
Drop off charge. Another reason to loathe UK and capitalism.

the staff is very rude and passive aggressive. The lady at the front desk purposely mixed up my tags because she was in a bad mood. Terrible costumer service. Destroyed my suitcase. Worth airport I’ve ever been to in my entire life.

Increasing the drop off charge to £7 in the new year is a 40% increase in 2 years - a bloody scandal
Security staff respected right not to go through body scanner
This review is specifically about security staff. I have to admit they seem to be improving based on my last 2 experiences.
For medical reasons, I cannot go through the body scanner. Plus it is not mandatory to go through, you can refuse.
Because of past bad experiences at an airport starting with G and ending with K, i am always filled with dread when I approach security (doctor's letter at the ready should I need it).
But my last 2 experiences have been fine. Staff accepted that I would not be going through scanner, did not ask to see medical evidence, and were polite and professional about it.
I was pleasantly surprised and only hope they keep it up.
SHAMBLES
Returned to Heathrow terminal 3 on Sunday morning. This country is a total shambles , NO information about incident , over reaction yet again and utter chaos around and in the airport. To many penguins walking about with no information. Britain's biggest airport , virgin please go back to Gatwick, so much better there. Heathrow airport a joke around the world.
Useless People Working at Assistant Passengers Department Terminal 2
f I could I would probably give it a 1/2 star. Heathrow Terminal 2 absolutely shocking.
We ordered 2 wheelchairs for my parents who are in their late 80’s. What a surprise only one wheelchair turned up because their colleagues were still coming. Long story short made my mom walk and I found a wheelchair. I pushed her all the way to the buggy. The buggy then took us to an area just in front of passport control. There were 4 of them who firstly could hardly speak English and not one of them lifted a hand to assist. The one woman didn’t even budge just sat there on her phone. They said we must wait for someone to help us but we had a taxi booked and they were wasting our time. I then when and got 2 wheelchairs we got my parents in there and off we went. Absolutely useless and can’t believe us as travelers pay for these type of people to be in a job. What happened to you have to speak English to live and get a job in England. What a freaking joke. Heathrow Terminal 2 you have lost the plot.
Extremely rude male security staff
Extremely rude male security staff. Terminal 5 9:50am Bay 8. 04.12.25.

Absolutely satisfied with the wheelchair assistance services provided by ‘Jovan Goes’ at the Heathrow airport today. He went extra mile to support my mom. Many thanks
Miserable
I received a parking fine from APCOA Parking for use of Terminal 2 Drop Off Zone without making a payment. The signage and road layout is ridiculously confusing, especially at night, and it was a mistake that caused no hold-ups to anyone. I stopped for a matter of seconds to tell a member of airport staff that I was lost. It's despicable that Heathrow Airport penalises people for mistakes like this. £40 is completely unjustifiable - it's clearly just a very easy cash-cow, and I don't need to do any research to know I must be one of many who make the same mistake on a daily basis. Everything else about Heathrow, there and back, was excellent. What a dim understanding of customer experience to end so many people's holidays with a letter waiting for them when they get home demanding £40. Cynical and grim. Wasn't my £200 for a week's parking enough?
One of the Worst
Makes Atlanta - Hartfield feel like paradise. Horrendously laid out. Oversensitive security, and lounges so overcrowded as to deny entrance. I would rather go through Sheremetevo (not really, but close).
