I would have given them a minus score if I could have done so. The 'ZippyFold' Mobility Scooter is absolute rubbish in my opinion. It weighs 6/7 kilo's MORE than what they claim, making it heavy to lift into the Kia Niro and certainly NOT lightweight. They don't tell you that you can't charge the Lithium battery indoors and if it rains you mustn't go out for fear of the water running down into the battery tray and presumably 'shorting' out. The seat folds down on the tiller and is destroying the material on the top. The key, and the drive levers on the tiller don't always engage and so you have to turn it on and off several times, and pull the levers equally several times for it to go forward or reverse. Finally the charging unit stopped working and when I asked for a new one under warranty they told me it is only covered for 6 months, but wanted the whole scooter back to work out what was wrong. They gave me a small refund initially and I thought that would be the end of the matter, we'd bought a mobility scooter. We chose to keep it because we needed it, but trust me it's rubbish. I had many conversations with 'A' in their office who fought like dogs to avoid sending me anything that was going to cost them. We're a small family company she kept saying and begged me not to write these reviews. In the end they told me to go through Ebay and guess who's table that ends up on? Yes, you've got it 'Hecare.co.uk', but I will have the last laugh because I have asked the bank for a chargeback £750 or thereabouts, when 'A' could have sent the charging cable/unit, the cost to them would have been about £30/40 and I would have been prepared to call it a day, their loss! Please note: I can't remember the exact date of the transaction and so without looking it up have applied todays date.

I purchased a ranger 3 from Hecare it’s a fantastic scooter well made the driver who delivered it ran me through all the setting and control the delivery was within 3 days really please it does every thing I want and wanted the controls are very good the speed it very easy to see plus the finish is very good indeed I have purchased a tiller cover just in case it does rain while out to protect the controls from the weather I am so very pleased I purchase from Hecare 100% satisfaction all rolled into one so please very satisfied thank you

Bought the Raptorfold for an upcoming trip. Service was flawless with shipping made swiftly. Very pleased with my purchase, i know if i need to upgrade in the future where i will be shopping.

Do not buy from this company customer service is virtually non existent. 1st Viperfold was delivered damaged, a weld was defective so the front wheel had fallen off . They offered a discount not really any good as the scooter would not work. A 2nd scooter was delivered fine but after 1 day of use the tiller had become loose. When we phoned the company had the misfortune to speak to “Tony” who told me this was due to mishandling by baggage handlers at airport, when I tried to explain that if the damage was caused by baggage handlers how come it worked for the 1st day of our trip but started to wobble on the 2nd , Tony just talked over me butted in and told me this had not happened, He was quite honestly the most obnoxious human I have ever had the misfortune to talk to , believing that if he spoke louder you would go away . He also told me that only the batteries and motor are guaranteed . Which obviously a lie and him believing the law doesn’t apply to him.
I offered to pay to have the scooter inspected by an independent engineer to assess if the problem was caused by the baggage handlers or a workmanship issue I have heard nothing back at all

This well designed Zippyfold Scooter is of excellent quality and looks really smart. The assembly was straightforward , controls are simple with a comfortable ride. Amazing value for money in
fact the entire transaction was 1st.Class, This Scooter
has given me a new lease of life ! Many Thanks to the team at HeCare for their kindness & understanding

A completely untrustworthy company. Bought a mobility scooter that had problems eventually got them to take back to repair. They were reluctant to even do this, felt the sale of goods act did not relate to them. They returned the machine and it has broken down again. As this has happened within 6 months ask them to collect and refund as not fit for purpose. They are refusing to do this. I know sometimes things go wrong but this company shows they think they can do what they want once they have your money. I am now looking at my legal options

I ordered the Ranger 2 mobility scooter a week ago and the HeCare staff and delivery van driver were excellent in communication and safe payment using Klarna.
The beautiful metallic sapphire blue scooter is a joy to ride. So smooth and quiet, no jolting or vibration. There are powerful road lights, safety horn, forward and reverse gears, 3 set speeds from 3 to 8 mph, comfortable adjustable seat with seat belt and armrests, lockable storage for helmet, folded walking stick, waterproofs and shopping. It's a luxury to listen to radio or MPs via your phone using a cable phone secured on the wing mirror/ handlebar. Even the included silver coloured cover is top quality and once that is secured, the scooter handlebar locked, an additional paid for handle bar red visible lock, a few bought "Protected by GPS" stickers and finally the electronic alarm set and I know it's secure parked outside my house in a quiet street. I'm recovering from a crash injury to my left arm caused by my last naff scooter, so I'm only using it for short journeys on estate roads to get used to it and loving this classy ride! It will be great on longer journeys! A full charge costs less than 50p and it will run for 40 miles on fairly level roads.

Great value for money with excellent customer service. If you are looking for a mobility scooter this is the place

Hecare and the purchase of my Ranger 2 mobility scooter have both been amazing! I cannot tell you how my life has been enriched since I bought my scooter. The customer service is excellent and after someone damaged my scooter by running into the back of me, cracking the back panel, I contacted them and it was repaired, at my home, within a few days. I highly recommend Hecare and would not hesitate going back to them, should I need anything else in the future. Amazing!!

I bought my scooter from He Care in Oct 24 through e-bay and was really pleased, it arrived very quickly, unfortunately by Feb 25 it stopped working. I thought that's okay it's under warranty, how wrong I was. When I phoned to complain I was told in no uncertain terms i would have to get the scooter back to them and have one of their engineers look at it. I live in Great Yarmouth and they are in Shipley, so I asked for my money back and was told in no uncertain terms by a Mr Khan that it doesn't work that way. After several phone calls and e-mails ( of which they wanted photographic and video evidence for their engineer to try and diagnose the problem ) they sent me a part ( I would have to get an engineer at my expense to fit it ) said part arrived and it was the wrong one, on the plus side ( of which it's the only one ) they have now sent the proper part.
As a pensioner on a limited budget I have been left to pay for someone to repair my scooter because it would have cost more than I paid for it to have been sent back to Shipley and repaired under a warranty that quite frankly is not worth the paper it's written on. Words just cannot express how badly as a customer I feel I have been treated

The item I purchased was great, but just be warned if you have any problems they do not respond to emails. I have sent a few since buying my item and every email has been ignored, luckily I wasn’t emailing about a problem with my item.
If they had of responded I would have given a better review, obviously more interested in getting your money than customer service

Messaged them on ebay regarding a powered wheelchair, they replied saying it was suitable for rough terrain, ie long grass, loose gravel, etc, told yes it is suitable for those, I saw same wheelchair in a local disability shop, I saw it was not suitable for the above, so be aware, they try sell you that may not be suitable but claim it is,I was tempted to buy, but had decided to look into mobility shop as wanted see if wheelchair suitable for me to use

from start to ordering till you receive wheelchair,Hecare has been excellent.delivery next day so easy to assemble,most important my wife loves it giving her more independence,would recommend Hecare.

Advertised as a light weight electric wheelchair at 26 kg it's more like 126kg that was only reason bought it. Comfy but don't buy if want light wheelchair

We bought a new mobility folding scooter from he care. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged for delivery. We unpacked the scooter and was very happy with the product it will.fit into our vehicle comfortably. Very well made and sturdy for my use overall we are very happy with he care and the product they supplied.

Excellent lightweight wheelchair. Haven’t been out with it as unwell but looks substantial and well made. East to put up from folded. Excellent service from HeCare.
