Read MANY negative reviews on Google listing but many were answered so still wanted to give the benefit of doubt and although it insisted on charging for extra removal of window parts before quoting, I still invited this local company for a quote (it then realised to include basic work in the price). "Surveyor" claimed the many, many bad reviews are from unreasonable people with old, "difficult" windows.

After the company sent me a generic mass email inviting to negotiate for a discount, I replied after my first choice had lead time issues, but was told I already had the best price and said it did not want me as a customer because I asked for the discount it asked me to make! I found the company to be less than honest and gave misleading information and wasted my time. This is reflected in the many other 1-star reviews you can find on Google (perhaps they only ask successful jobs to post on TrustPilot).

I tried to address the above concerns before posting this review but the company said "Please stop emailing us or we will report you for harassment" (how extremely unprofessional, right?) THE REPLY TO THE REVIEW conveniently omits the email they sent about harassment and with no commentary. Clearly not denied and rather embarrassed to give an actual response. REPORT THIS COMPANY TO ICO AND TRUSTPILOT IF THEY PUBLISH DATA YOU DO NOT AGREE TO.

This was the second time I have used Henry & Sons. On both occasions they have been helpful, efficient and I have been very pleased with the windows and their workmanship.

We have had 11 windows, some casement and some sash, and a balcony door installed by Henry and sons. The design and installation process was painless. We were keen to install windows, which kept the period look of the front of our home and Henry and Sons achieved that. An error with the colour of some handles, was quickly corrected.
Subsequently, the representative of a blinds company commented on the high quality of the window installation.
Based on our experience we would recommend Henry and sons.

Fitted new sash bay windows and sash kitchen window. Very good communication. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. I went with this company on the recommendation of a family member who had windows fitted last year. I haven't seen the finished product yet, but the photos look great. My tenants tell me that the contractors were very professional, polite, neat and tidy, answered all questions and that they are delighted with the new windows. So, I'm very happy to recommend this company.

From contacting Henry's and Sons Glazing initially to the installation they have been nothing but professional , super helpful and Gabriela knows what customer service is. She is an asset to the company.

I feel vindicated. I didn’t want their window fitters returning to make good their damage. They weren’t honest enough to explain their accident. The mess they made with mastic trying to hide their damage was bad enough. And coming without replacement tiles? How exactly would they replace the broken tiles?? It was a ridiculous offer. I restate 2 weeks after the incident there was no progress and it’s right and proper I share my experience.

I had 2 windows fitted. I looked at windows while fitters were here. Both windows fine. Later, same day, I saw 2 broken tiles and mirror surround were damaged. Obviously they had dropped either the old or new window. I immediately sent pictures and explained the situation. Damage is very likely to be accidental but the fitter not owning up and worse, denying the accident is unacceptable. That was over 2 weeks ago. I’ve been phoning and emailing finally saying if I don’t hear I’ll reluctantly post a review on Trustpilot. And here it is. I would NOT RECOMMEND Henry & Sons, a company that covers for dishonesty. There’s plenty of other more reputable firms. Firms that respect the client and take such matters seriously. This is not such a company. From my experience I’d suggest you try someone else.

Rude people, bad products and unskilled installers. Be vigilant: their products are not water resistant, and despite their 10-year warranty, they refuse to refund, change or fix the faulty material. Do not work with them.

Great quality and service. No hesitation to recommend Henry & Sons. Everything was completed as planned and the guys went over and above when fitting the windows. All in all very happy.

We have recently had a replacement front door and side panels, together with two replacement windows from H&S, and have nothing but praise for the service we've received.

We were particularly interested in the SOLIDOR product range and requested quotes on the SOLIDOR website. SOLIDOR supplied details of a number of companies providing SOLIDOR but H&S were the quickest to respond and were so easy to deal with. No pressure or hard sell. Gabby provided valuable information about colour combinations which we would never have considered and we are delighted with.

Installation was far easier than we could have imagined. No mess and the door and 2 windows look fantastic. We couldn't be happier.

I have no hesitation in recommending H&S to anyone considering new doors or windows. They are so easy to deal with and so professional in their door and window fitting.

We were very impressed with the service provided by the H&S team. Their fitting service was amazing. They did an amazing job – completely changed my impression of tradesmen!! Really well spoken, polite and efficient in all the work.

Was looking for a reliable and fairly priced service. I’ve had terrible experiences through other company’s but can not recommend this one enough. From quote to finish, no problems, completely reliable and informative. Would use them again without a question of a doubt.

Great customer service, I had 6 windows installed to a very high standard I dealt with Gabriella amazing individual who liaised with me every step of the way. Can’t believe the reviews I have read as I have only experienced great customer service from Henry and Sons and have referred them to friends already, my mother and I are very satisfied with the installation and the price compared to other window company’s were the best. And considering epidemic we were in the lead time was superb.

My husband and I purchased a window from Henry & Sons a few months ago. They came to fit it 2 weeks ago and the window is clearly faulty as it is almost impossible to close it!
After fitting the window, they came back to change the locks but that didn't make any difference as the window is still very stiff and is extremely difficult to close. The fitters confirmed that they would have looked into it and that someone would have come back to sort it out. But that unfortunately never happened.
We have been chasing them for the past week, they said that someone from their team would have contacted us but that never happened either. I then spoke to the owner of the business over the phone who was extremely rude and aggressive. She said that this was not her problem, that I should go to the gym to gain some strength to close the window, that this is her business and she would do whatever it pleases her and she would not send anyone to fix the window.
I can see that other people have left similar reviews regarding how rude the owner of the business was, I should have read them before deciding to buy this window from Henry & Sons. I really hope that this review will prevent more people to be in our same situation.
In summary we have spent around £2000 on a window that we can open but can't properly close. On top of this their customer service is the worse I have experienced in all my life. I will never purchase any other windows from this company.
