I have worked with Heritage on two occasions now, once for service and minor upgrades to my defender and second time for a restoration of a classic.
The team are very knowledgable, gave me options in how to proceed and the pros and cons of each. There were also price and timelines agreed which were meet on both occasions.
I have since referred them to a family member to use and their work was 1st class. Highly recommended.

If I could give this garage a zero I would. Do not trust this garage. If you do decide to use the garage always get a quote in writing before any work is carried out, do not let them fob you of with 'it's about this much' as it will always cost you a heck of a lot more and they will give you an excuse why. Always ask for your parts back in writing before any work is carried out, so you can double check any work carried out and the goods they say that are faulty are actually faulty. Read there terms and conditions thoroughly. Check the workmanship and if you end up in a dispute this company will not negotiate.

Mr Spooner, unfortunately on receiving the vehicle you’re referring to, we were not informed the damage was caused by the illegal driving of it, with red diesel. This meant additional time in fault finding, which is chargeable. Parts to fix a vehicle are chargeable. Eventually after discovering the issue it was confirmed our analysis was correct.
Still after repairing the vehicle it sat with us for months, yet due to our generosity, we did not enforce our terms and conditions.
Again we worked on the vehicle as requested and have only carried out work approved by the customer. Yet again we’ve had a vehicle sitting with us for months, awaiting collection and payment in full.
Thankfully for Heritage 4x4 Ltd, the majority of our customers will inform us from the offset what the actual problem is with their vehicle, saving time, we will fix the vehicles accordingly and to our customer’s requirements, in a cost effective way, keeping individuals and their vehicles safe on the road. That is why it’s most unlikely we will ever receive any feedback such as this again and we never have before.
You’re most welcome to organise a time to collect and pay for the vehicle you refer to and we hope that’s very soon. We will then wish you well with your new service provider.
