Drop Off not as thorough as Pick Up

Picking up: employee & I walked the car & she opened the trunk. I put my duffel bag in. Returning the car, a different employee & myself walked the car. She did not open the trunk. I forgot my duffel!! This was a Friday ~ car (blue Kia) was sent out for an oil change & not on property Monday morning. I was assured the mechanic had no reason to look in the trunk and "They would get back to me." .... No. They never did. My duffel (with my photo idea, no mistaking who it belongs to) is just floating around somewhere.
