Would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE that the Concord NH desk answer their phones AND clean out the mailbox. It was frustrating not being able to connect for THREE days and Expedia was unable to communicate with them via phone and no response via email. The five stars is for the gentleman that was working and was able to make my change for me.

Clean and operable
The vehicle was ready when I arrived. There was no Hertz member board but the check-in was quick. The vehicle was clean; however the fuel was not completely full.

Reduce friction of customer service and access to human agents
the wait time was over 30 minutes. It was difficult to get ahold of a real person. The AI chat could not offer the help that I needed. I have been a long time client of Hertz, rent frequently and wish there was better customer service. I am thinking of changing to another company

We used this on a family trip
We used this on a family trip. The vehicle was returned basically clean but need a good vacuum done on it. I was charged a 250 dollar external cleaning fee. This think this was excessive and unwarranted. The charge for the mini van was 3 times what it usually is for a car and one would assume it would cover a good cleaning after a weeks rental and use

A nearly ruined Sweet 16th.
We booked a minivan for a day to drive our daughter and her 4 friends to the mall in Massachusetts for her Sweet 16th. Hertz cancelled our reservation without telling us. No call. No email. The only reason I found out before pick up was because I happened to look up the reservation the night before. We called the location and their voicemail was full and no one picked up. We called corporate and were able to rebook at a HIGHER price.
