Everything went smoothly

We received a car that had dog hairs and smelled of dog. The replacement vehicle was much nicer.

Really nice car, probably an upgrade. Nice people at service, easy return, no games.

Disappointed. Received a Nissan Rogue with 46,000+ mi on it. It developed transmission/engine problems on 2nd day. Car would shake and die when downshifting and upshifting. Had to go out of our way to the Kansas City airport to exchange it at another 'corporate' location. They had no cars..despite road service call having told us that this location had lots of same class vehicles. Waited 3 hrs for a car to be cleaned. Seats were stained with white milky stuff but at least it only had 25,000 miles and performed well. Except we received it with 'Change Oil Soon' notice on the dashboard which never went away and we couldn't seem to remove it to see other things on the instrument cluster. Gotta wonder how long this car from California to KCI to The Villages had needed an oil change.

It’s always a great experience renting here - the staff are wonderful, the drop off and pick up are quick and easy - and everything is always clean and ready. It’s my favorite place to rent a vehicle from!

Car was good. Check in person could have been a little more outgoing.

The car was not cleaned inside or out, air pressure in the tires was all over the map in each tire, which I had to correct, the tank was only 1/4 full and I did not get the credit I was told I would get if I turned the car in 2 days early. The only upside was the location. Otherwise, not overly impressed with this location in The Villages.

The car looked like it had been driven on a dirt road after raining and had not been washed. That vehicle should not have been assigned. The reason given for being dirty was that the facility didn't have water in the back. I took pictures for reference. The agent offered another vehicle which I appreciated but I did not have time for the exchange. It wasn't the end of the world so I kept the vehicle, but this was unacceptable in my opinion. Hertz advertises clean cars and should live up to that. For the future, car wash business work great....and there was one in the same parking lot as Hertz.

I only needed the car to go from the airport, 40 miles away, to my home where I have 3 cars. When we went to return the car on Saturday your office was closed, they are only open for a few hours on Saturday. So my $100 rental turned into a $300 rental for a car I didn't need, and tried to return.

Staff was good to us and car was definitely reliable.

Great car, excelent service

Getting more difficult to rent car when rental at local office. Also there is a lot of credit card activity on my Corprorate Amex and no receipts available. Fraud seems to be rampant in general with Hertz.

easy check in and check out. However the Villages unit is always understaffed
