The location was convenient, the staff was friendly, and my car was ready when I arrived.
I tried to extend my rental. I could not extend online because I prepaid, which I was told when I called the 1800 number. When I arrived I was still told I could not extend and it had to be closed out. I tried to book online and it said they were sold out. So the female rebooked my rental which was about $380 instead of the $250 i would have paid if I used the 25% or even add a free day because I’m an Amex user, which are both offered online. I told her I wanted to use a hertz code, she told me I could not. I had to pay regular price and she refused any coupon codes saying there was no place for her to put the code. I found this to be sad because I have multiple codes that were of use to me but I couldn’t use any promotion which was not my fault.
I picked up the rental at one location and dropped off at the airport. I don’t know if this had something to do with my experience. However, when I dropped off the car I asked for my bill it was for one amount but I was emailed and charged a different amount which was more. Also, the discount I had on my bill was removed. When I called about it I was told that the second bill was correct but the person I spoke with could not explain why my discount was removed. By removing my discount made my bill increase. I am not complaining about the service. I just needed to know why my discount was removed from my first account.
