Awful. Lost a Customer

My fiance has bought me bath bombs from Hexbomb for years with no issues until this Valentine's Day. He ordered in January to ensure they got here on time. 3 1/2 weeks later, 2 days after Valentine's day and after him emailing them multiple times they finally said 'oh sorry we were busy they're being sent tomorrow'. I thought okay I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The parcel came with 3 items missing and they've now gone radio silent! We will be doing a charge back for this. They used to be amazing but now are at rock bottom for service and attitude. Will be taking out custom else where.

Shocking! Rubbish - do not order

Shocking! Waited almost a month for items, no tracking and no help for weeks. Then when it did arrive 2 items were missing, the outside packaged horribly and smashed open box, inside were 2 broken/damaged items, 1 wrong item and the packaging was ripped and stickers hanging off and just generally an absolute mess. Would not order again

Ordered over £300 worth of products…

Ordered over £300 worth of products from this company on the 6th of December ready for Christmas for my wife parcel turned up on Christmas eve half of the contents was missing and half of what turned up was wrong I've emailed them multiple times with no reply. I'm currently taking this further, they don't even seem to care that this is going further than a bad review! Don't waste your money here this company has definitely gone down hill bad

Been ordering for years, but never again.

Been ordering for years for friends and family birthday and Christmas presents, ordered for Christmas on the 27/11/25 and didn't receive it til roughly 3 weeks later, which was already ridiculous length of time to arrive, but put it down to maybe they were short staffed, overwhelmed with Christmas orders and such, but it arrived it a broken up box that had been taped over and over again to just barely hold together, like they had no actual postal boxes to ship and just used anything that was sitting im their warehouse.

To then find that inside, the contents even worse:

1. The quality of products have dropped off, no where near as good as they used to be

2. One of the products seemed to of melted and leak onto everything, leaving a sticky residue onto everything.

3. I bought as a mystery box of 6 items, and only received 5:

-One bath bomb
-One wax melt
-One body spray
-One duck
-One sticky tin with no product left only residue

Was blown away how bad this order has been compared to others from the same company, thinking I would give them a chance to correct it, ive emailed three times now, contacted their live chat on their website and have had no response, just completely ignored.

Will not be shopping with hexbomb anymore and will take my business elsewhere as they clearly no longer care for their products, reputation or customers.

If anyone is looking for a alternative website I would recommend coal harbor, I order quickly after hexbomb disaster turned up and received coal harbor promptly and exceeded expectations.

You are probably reading this after a…

You are probably reading this after a problem too, as that's what's happened here. My partner has ordered me products from this company for my birthday for years. I'm not talking a few quid here and there, multiple £100 orders. He ordered on the 2nd of December with plenty of time to reach me before my Christmas period birthday. The seller dropped it at a parcel drop off on the 22nd December. They then blamed both royal mail and my husband for not selecting a faster postage. He ordered with WEEKS to go and the earliest he has ever ordered.

What's worse is that emails were ignored, and he ended up having to raise a PayPal case to get the money back after we rejected the delivery (which arrived in a beaten up old DHL box)

This company used to be absolutely fantastic, they have amazing Etsy reviews. I don't know what's happened, as any good seller would have a better postal system than dumping it at a local shops parcel drop off. They used to have beautiful wrapping and packing and not using old dogeared DHL boxes which have gone through a few deliveries. I don't know what's happened other than the sellers cup of care is clearly empty.

Hexbomb, if you are reading this, you get to manage your stock, your website and your orders. You can also decide if you want to quit the business.

Honestly dreadful experience. If you can't get a response from them, raise it with PayPal or your bank.

Literally zero correspondence from this…

EDIT....ORDER NEVER TURNED UP!! NO HELP FROM THE COMPANY AT ALL TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, NO OFFER THE RESEND THE ORDER SO I REQUESTED A CHARGE BACK FROM MY BANK. WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Literally zero correspondence from this company!! Ive ordered a gift for my daughter on the 14th Dec, they took my money and sent me an email on the 16th with the Royal mail tracking for a 48hr delivery...I've received nothing, no change to the tracking and no parcel so thanks to you my daughters minus her gift and im down nearly £40. I have messaged you on numerous platforms and sent emails with no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. I will never be ordering from you again.

If It looks to Good to Be True, Avoid Like The plague

I placed an order for my son who has sensory issues but loves the smell of petrichor so I thought their shower gel would be ideal but I placed order on 4th November and they took my payment by the 5th and the Royal Mail website showed that they were waiting for Hexbomb to pass the goods to them, days later and it stayed the same and yes, I did use the tracking number provided and (Royal Mail did have a tech issue at one point) nothing changed. I emailed the company with order number and details and no response. I tried again and the proprietor said via email that they were very busy but would look into it when they attended work on the Monday.....Monday came, no response, I contacted again and after a few days silence I tried again and they suggested that I use the Royal Mail tracking number and app and they would also do the same. The process has remained unchanged since 5th November. I tried to contact again but...this time my emails mysteriously bounces back to me with a blurb about company refusing to accept my emails! Myself and my 2 sons are in on autistic spectrum and have other health issues and we have very little cash floating about - my son has been let down and I have been taken for a ride for approximately £35 which we cannot afford and to top it all I now have to go through hassle of finding another Xmas present (for Master Super-Picky) and mysteriously manage to find a money tree (perhaps Hexbomb have to one in their stores)

Scam beware

I ordered one product on Etsy. I was informed that due to a mix up another customer's parcel had been delivered to my address. I was not even home or had opened the parcel when i was advised of this (how strange ????) The shop owner bombarded me (harassed) with unpleasant messages for 2 days. I am mentally drained. This individual was only concerned about me returning the parcel to Ireland, thinking I would do so at my own cost and not even providing me with a solution for my paid order(hahaha). I refused and suggested no return label no return. I got so sick of their endless messages that I returned the said parcel with the label on my own spare time, bearing in mind I've been spoken to like i am a criminal, have done something wrong and being reminded that my order is of a lesser value and obviously i am not that important. She rushed into cancelling my order the minute she saw that the other customer parcel was returned, so I can't open a case or leave negative feedback to share with customers the way this so called business operates. Waste of time, feeling totally insulted, robbe off my money, intimidated, I received no product and I am yet to see a refund. Shocking.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Do Not buy gift box/mystery box, Great idea for clueless boyfriends to give as gifts (valentine's for me) but exicuted very poorly. I ended up with a box full of broken bits and bobs, a sickly smelling sugar soap leaking all over and disappointingly only 1 decent Hex bomb. Not worth the £30-£40 that it cost.
I usually love my Hex bombs so I was very disappointed with my box full of what looked like defected goods that they couldn't sell.
My 7 item box contained: 1 hex bomb & 1 bag of broken crumbs with a hex bomb sticker on (both same smell), 1 bottle of oil (not sure if it's for bath or oil burner, label does not say) 1 tiny pot of sugar scrub which was leaking badly, 1 pack of 3 wax melts, a sticker, a card and a home made cookie. Oh and lots of tiny heart shaped confetti.
Shocking when you calculate you are paying around £5 per item.

It was packed well, but honestly what was the point of wrapping broken items in bubble wrap?

Boyfriend could have bought me 6 or 7 really good hex bombs separately for the same price.

Shame on you, you should be selling your broken bits off cheap not throwing them in gift boxes and over charging to get your money's worth.

New favorite bath bomb shop

My favorite bath bombs at the moment, finding them better than Lush. Love that they're handmade, you can see the effort that's gone into them with the unique designs, some have little soaps on top that are so cute. The scents are amazing too, strong but not overpowering.

If anyone is finding it too costly to use bath bombs - their powder tubs are ideal, mine lasted for about 10 baths. I've had two big orders now and they were packaged pretty well, shipping took about 4 days. Highly recommend at least trying once.

Horrible company

I have bought from the company twice! The first time all my bath bombs came broken and when I contacted them they were rude and pretty much told me to bad and I should have paid the extra 40$ for express tracked (shipping couldn’t even like give me 10% off or something my next order?) so next time I ordered I bought the tracked express shipping, the shipping isn’t even actually tracked it just tells tell you what day it could possibly be there. Total waste of money this Company is running a scam id stay away from them honestly

Softcore pornography! Avoid!

I am very much in to Halloween and the gothic aesthetic. I also love a soak in the bath with a good bath bomb. So this company was right up my street!

However, I recently saw almost in my Instagram feed of a woman with her breasts out with just some long hair covering her nipples and some dark water at the very bottom of the screen. On looking back over the last 2 - 3 years there are a lot of similar posts.
I am very much against sexualising products that aren't sexual just to sell them. I think it's lazy, offensive and outdated. I also think it's sending the wrong message to young people. Especially when most of the pictures they report are women and the sexually explicit images are all women.
I made a comment on the post mentioned above in which I expressed my concern but wasn't rude. I got a very defensive response with Hexbomb stating that they don't create the images. They simply report what customers/fans send them. In essense, "we don't pick or pay any of our models so don't have a go at us". They then insinuated that I'm some sort of prude of I'm somehow offended by women's bodies.
I replied and stated that this is simply not true. I reiterated my points above, still remaining polite, even complimented their products but asked why they have to make something not sexual, sexual and why are they specifically using naked women.
I got a passive aggressive response which ended with them telling me to message them in private rather than comment on their page.
I replied that I was happy to have the conversation in public and made the points again.
After defending myself against 2 other people for my own opinions, instead of answering me or stopping any insults, they blocked me.
I messaged them privately from a different account that I use to review products, rather than my personal one. The didn't respond and blocked me on that one as well.

In short, they are a lazy company that doesn't pay models bit simply reposts photos of predominantly women that they are tagged in. They've reposted many sexually explicit photos of women bit their page isn't age restricted. They don't post any sexually explicit photos of men, in fact they barely post photos of men at all. They are not spreading a body positive message as most of hear women are slim and what society would deem as "attractive". They claim they couldn't sell bath products any other way when companies like Lush are far more successful without resorting to being sexually explicit. They are sexualising a product that is inherently not sexual. They would rather block and ignore people, therefore silencing them, rather than allowing customers/fans/the general public make their own minds up themselves. I am disgusted by how I as grate as someone who's bought their products many times and was polite in my dealings with them regardless of the fact that we have opposing views. I just hope my niece doesn't see their page and think it's ok to use her body to get what she wants or that she needs to be sexual in order to be successful/popular.

Amazing, loved my products

Ordered on their website after seeing someone elses video of their products on instagram.
Was slightly concerned ordering as their was no trust pilot reviews and had never heard of them before, but I needn't have worried!
Ordered a metallic collection gift box and it came within days even with covid, everything smells amazing and is the coolest bath bombs I have ever had.
This seems to be a small one of boutique store and I love that!
will be ordering again and telling everyone about them.
