We meet with our family from Alabama here as it is a nice location in between our home in North Carolina. We have stayed several times, but will not return after this visit. There was a heat wave that overwhelmed the HVAC systems and made the deluxe cabin (we paid several hundred dollars per night to stay in) absolutely miserable. It was 80 degrees inside the cabin, making it difficult to sleep and ruining our vacation. The techs indicated there was nothing they could do. We never heard from Administration and were not offered a different cabin or any compensation for the awful accommodations, despite the exorbitant price we paid. Paying as much as we did for each night, the inability to attain a comfortable temperature inside (could not get less than 80 degrees), is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I recommend staying elsewhere as these people do not care about service or holding up their end of an agreement to provide a rental with properly functioning systems.

I stayed at Hidden Mountain for a long weekend back in October. I had never been to Gatlinburg/Sevierville area and was SO excited for this trip. The whole reason we even booked in TN was finding this cute cottage to stay in for the weekend. The smokey mountains are beautiful and this cabin made you feel right at home. When you walk in you were welcomed by a beautiful fireplace, spacious kitchen, bedroom and outdoor area with a jacuzzi. The staff were amazing and on site 24/7 (which I loved) it just made me feel better since our cabin was further back into nature. The only thing I would say is you absolutely need a larger vehicle to navigate your way around. There are a lot of winding roads and cabins set up and down hills. Ours was set up a hill with a super long driveway. I have a coupe that is very low to the ground and I know my car wouldn’t have made it up. Thankfully we were traveling with a larger vehicle with off roading features to make it up and down the hills smoothly. One of the most beautiful features of the resort was a swing to sit and view the breath taking mountains. Overall I would give this resort 5 stars. Our stay was awesome and it was close to all TN has to offer. Shops, great food and beyond!
