Ouch £1100 later !!!
Sorry to have to do this …. But has HIGHAMS changed hands. Imagine how I felt when I was told my 10 year old car had an £1100 bill for a service?
£400 for a car battery ? I price checked it elsewhere £202 !
Why didn’t they clear that size bill with me first ?
Been going there 10 years or so ….. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! Shame coz want to support local businesses.

Expensive and unknown costs
Went on recommended. Had to wait all morning for any contact about my car and then they wanted £475 to fix it. After saying I didn’t want to go ahead they said they wanted £30 for their assessment. No mention of this before when I booked the car in and nothing about it on the website. Not a happy customer.

This garage is very rare
This garage is very rare, they offer a friendly service and at reasonable prices.
I took my motorhome in for front shocks change, as i had travelled from the Merseyside area they assigned
an extra man on the job to get it completed so i didnt have to wait any longer than necessary.
They will be getting all of my family business in future.
