The AA sent Highfield to us as we were broken down, a guy called Connor arrived within 45 minutes and worked away on our car.
Super polite guy and very helpful and knowledgeable
Connor worked out what the issue was but didn’t have the part so we had to be towed on a flatbed by Tom.
The team were 1000000% on point and got us back safely and furthermore, the diagnosis that Connor spotted was correct and when I repackaged that simple item, the car was running smoothly again with no issues.
Other garages would of given the old “ohhh this will costa ya” but the part ended up costing £48 and I was on my way.

a mechanic arrived, no introduction, I explained the problem about the key/ignition issue. whilst waiting for him to arrive I was able to get the key out of the barrel, the mechanic, without any communication to me, proceeded to hit the keyhole barrel with a hammer and screw driver, but I can't understand why? although the key had been a problem for a few days , I had been able , with patience to remove the key. now, after what he did, I could not even get the key in the barrel to drive the car! I, as a customer, I had to keep asking him the next move, he then replied we need to get a recovery vehicle here. When the recovery vehicle arrived, the driver asked me to explain what the first mechanic had done , when I explained to him, he looked very shocked when I explained the use of a hammer and screwdriver and he commented "for what reason?" The recovery mechanic was most helpful, he communicated very well with a full explanation of what would happen to my vehicle we agreed to use Highfieldgarage as my own garage was closed. I was most disappointed with the initial mechanic's attitude and lack of communication, I was left feeling upset and shocked. I am most concerned if any unnecessary damage was made to my car. Highfield Garage was called by the AA when I broke down with two flat tyres. Long way from home and in a rural area. Both the recovery service controller (Tim) and the driver (Sam) were prompt, polite, efficient, and kept me informed of when the recovery vehicle would arrive (40 mins) and what options were open to me. Thankyou for an excellent service.

Highland garage excellent service. We broke down on A30. Our dashboard lite with all sorts of warnings including do not drive etc. Highland garage was sent to us via Autoaid. They arrived quickly. The mechanic was so professional efficient reassuring and sorted the problem. Got us back on the road. So impressed. Thank you.

Only a small problem with the car - but Highfield Garage immediately put the car on the ramp and fixed it - and didn't even charge! Delighted.

we recently broke down on the side of the A30 with a blown gearbox we called Highfeild garage they sent out someone to look at the jeep. which he did but then left without following up so we were left sitting on the side of the road for at least 2 hours during storm babet. we then called back and they dispatched a recovery truck but felt overcharged as they charged us 260 for a 7 mile tow but claimed it was 45 mins to get to the location when it was only 15 mins

when the jeep got to Exeter garage it was a different story they were very helpful. we had to catch our ferry back to Ireland even though they were extremely busy they got the jeep done and ready for us to make to make it back to the ferry. very clean workshop and helpful staff. now the jeep is back in Ireland and running well

Recently broke down on the A30 on a Sunday morning. Was recovered by this company and dropped off at service station a couple of miles down the road. Nearly £200 for the privilege. The driver assured me that someone would be out to fix my car the next day. I needed a new alternator. Next morning arrived, no sign of anyone. I rang the office and was basically fobbed off. Apparently they had canceled this job. The service across the board from this company was appalling. I eventually got somebody else to recover me again and fix my car. Look around before you call this lot out to you.

We broke down on the Motorway heading to Exeter.
Highfield Garage were dispatched to rescue us by Autoaid Breakdown.
The driver arrived within the hour and was fantastic.
He had our vehicle loaded onto his recovery truck in a matter of moments and took us to a local garage who had us back on the road with no fuss.
The driver, who is the representative for his company after all, was helpful and kept us in good spirits.

Was contracted out to Highfield Garage by the AA when I broke down on my way back to Bristol from Cornwall. Experienced excellent service from everyone I met at the garage. They were already waiting at the meeting point to take me on the next leg of the journey. From the garage they were able to give me a courtesy car so I could make it back to Bristol that evening as it was too late to tow me back. 36 hours later their tow truck turns up at my house with my car on the back. Fantastic service would recommend
