Do not buy a car from these cowboys

Everything! Was suoposed to have a new shock absorber fitted to pass mot, delivered with mot and not the shocker! Questions validaty of said mot.
Suppliwd with bald tire, missing locking wheelnut remover.
Second day of owning, devoloped major electrical problem, DPF filter became unfit for use, rendoring car undriveable.
Had to cut my loses losing over £2500 within 7 days, total cowboys.
And good luck getting hold of Adam.
Avoid at all costs...

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! We bought a Ford Focus for our 17 year old daughter’s first car. Ten minutes after driving away the engine blew up. Rang them straight away but they didn’t want to know. The AA said that it should never have been sold. We spent £1000 and it can’t be fixed. They are refusing to give any money back and are ignoring all of our messages and phone calls. We have been left with no choice but to contact the police, auto trader and trading standards. It is criminal what they are doing. BE AWARE!!!

Brought jaguar xj

Brought jaguar xj. Within 30 days of purchasing the car I found that 3 of my 4 alloys had multiple cracks and 1 had also had a previous repair. Told Jack and was told to come down the following week. Jack had a quick look around the car and said come back the first week of the new year and he would source me new wheels and a light that was also cracked and was letting water in. So me being stupid I said okay. January comes around and all he does is constantly mess me around. After constantly calling him he said he would offer £350 towards the car when the actual cost of replacing the wheels and light would be £1000 at least. He kept trying to say it would of been picked up on the mot but obviously wasn't. Either way the faults was found within 30 days of purchase so wheels and light was obviously faulty before I got the car.
1wheel had 5 cracks in and the other 2 faulty wheels had several. The light was letting water in for a while as it had gone green on the inside so obviously was broken for a while. By law I'm entitled to have the items replaced. Been to CAB and they also said the same after hours of doing research and going through the law. But he still claims they are classed as wear and tear items even though the law says the opposite. I took the £350 to put towards the costs of my solicitor to take him to court because if I didn't then I would be out of pocket massively. Jack is an absolute joke and a cowboy trader. I have all the photos which clearly prove my position and my solicitor says its open and shut case. Don't let him fool you! Any non wear and tear items are covered by the sale of goods act but apparently the law doesn't apply to him.
I guarantee he will message back to this message trying to be clever but all your doing is making yourself look stupid Jack! Everyone will know exactly what type of person you are! Me.being stupid i didn't look at your previous negative reviews.

I recently purchased a car from…

I recently purchased a car from hillgate motor company and had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They helped me find the perfect car for my needs and budget. The dealership was clean and well-maintained, and the sales process was smooth and hassle-free. I would highly recommend hillgate motor company to anyone looking for a used car. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely do business with them again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! - THEY SELL DANGEROUS CARS!!!!!! - i bought a car from these cowboys about 8 weeks ago, I had problems with the car from day 1 - luckily I know a mechanic and he took a look at the car - he said the fuel pump was the issue (he told me the fuel tank was held to the car by cable ties, the fuel pump was for a different make and model vehicle (that's why I have been having issues starting the car) and that there were exposed wires in the fuel tank and if the car was a petrol it would have exploded) luckily the car was a diesel and it hasn't exploded - SERIOUSLY AVOID THESE COWBOYS BECAUSE YOU WONT JUST LOSE YOUR MONEY BUT POSSIBLY YO7R LIFE!!!!

AVOID HILLGATE MOTOR COMPANY HILLGATE…

AVOID HILLGATE MOTOR COMPANY HILLGATE STOCKPORT LIKE THE PLAGUE
Absolute cowboys, sold us a right heap.... had problems within the first week, took them a week to come and collect it (as it wasn't drivable), then told us it was fixed, when it hadn't actually had anything done to it, further problems meant we had to get it repaired as was without transport, now they are claiming the warranty is void as we had it repaired, will not take the car back and leaving us over £3000 out of pocket. They take your money then don't accept any responsibility for the rubbish they sell. We will be taking it further, small claims court. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUNCH OF AMATEURS, very argumentative and rude, not an ounce of customer service. They are not willing to refund the cost of the car or the repairs only had the car about 8 weeks and its useless
