The service was very good.
The fitter was on time.
He didnt rush. He explained about the pile of carpet. Made sure carpet fitted well up to existing carpet by the door to other room. This is second carpet in 2 months. Will definately return .

Recently I purchased carpet from Himalaya carpets and was very disappointed and upset with the customer service that I experienced. We are regular customers but the recent purchase was something we had not experienced before, the issue was a staff who did not explain the prices of the service they would provide which led to us being confused when they asked for extra payment when it came to fitting the carpet.

Well I went here on the advice of my mum after she has been a customer for over 30 years. I have already relayed my feedback back to the company and they have addressed a couple of my issues. Although they are willing to come out and re-stretch the carpet because the fittings around the edges are untidy and they have offered me other cut out pieces because they failed to leave the bits that I have paid for behind. They cracked and broke off the skirting board after helping me which they didn’t bother to bring to my attention or fix. In all of the emails back-and-forth they have ignored that strenuously. Not taking responsibility and not paid for the damage. Therefore I would be happier if every edge of my carpet was the same, tidy and neat. They hadn’t come in and done the carpet within an hour. Walked on it with their outdoor shoes and to be fair just rushed through. Paid a lot of money for the carpet and to be fair the after service is not what I expected. I can copy and paste with emails for proof if necessary. My advice is yes it is good to go to a place that has been doing this for a long time however complacency may be a thing there. I had hoped for a little more from them as an established business but there you go.

We chose Himalaya Carpets due to them having good range of carpets at suitable prices. All went fine in house choosing, measuring and paying. Problems started with laying carpets, no time of arrival given and both days arriving very late Sunday 4.30pm, dinner delayed. Himalaya Carpets seemed to not know what was going on here as on the Saturday we got call for feedback prior to job commencing, about 11am. On both days place left messy with carpet fibres everywhere, no view to tidy after self, even after being approached on this issue. But job done fine, we could bear witness after tidying to see the finished result.

Just wanted to drop a quick message to say thank you soo much for the service. The flooring is done so well and my home looks splendid now!

Very happy with my latest carpet, the lady who helped me is very experienced and helped me to get the surveyor to get the measurements even before I decided on the carpet. They managed to install a very difficult pattern carpet and both the store and the installer were very understanding and accommodating of my requests. The store also has very good quality laminate and underlay. Highly recommended.

I received excellent customer service when choosing and buying the flooring. The company has a wide range from which I was able to choose within my budget. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating to my requests and bent forward to assist in fitting the carpet within my deadline. The fitters too provided a satisfactory service which was neat. I would gladly recommend them.

in my opinion i would say BEST PEOPLE BEST QUALITY BEST PRICES BEST SERVICE POSITIVE ATTITIDE GOOD LISTENING EARS. THIS IS THE REASON I HAVE BEEN USING HIMALAYA for so many many years.

I had booked for someone to come for one room carpet change on a sunday. The guy that came was really quick as was his assistant. However they were supposed to come between 1 and 5pm. they turned up after 7pm. There should of been a way to communicate with them. It is common curtesy to let your customer know if you are running late. So i didnt know what was happening and the room is used for my twins. I had put their cots back in and was getting them to sleep when they came. Had they fallen asleep I dont know how I would have facilitated the fitting.But as I said when the came they were very professional and quick.

We have used himalaya carpets multiple times both the slough branch and Southall. We have always had a good service from in store to when the fitters attend. Super helpful help you to pick the right carpet for the traffic and give good advice. They have just done my nursery and will be doing the stairs carpet. 10 out of 10 can not fault for them for quality price and service

Very fast and professional service. My carpet was fitted two days after buying and the carpenters were polite, on time and very quick! The carpet looks great and I am very happy!

Excellent overall experience for quality and value for money. The carpet fitter (Raheel) and his team were amazing. Extremely efficient and even came back the day after to fix a minor issue without any problems! Raheel and his team are a credit to Himalaya Carpets.

Both shop staff and fitters couldn't be more helpful ... Would definitely recommend, as received quality carpet at a good price, with excellent service.

The edging/corners were not fitted, as they had been placed in the correct position, but not glued. We had to glue every edge ourselves. They also left gaps in the corners and did not fit wood around corners. Also, they didn't let us know how much wood was left over, so we had to use foam and plastic to cover the gaps. The majority of the time it was just one person working, and the other person was out for hours, making the work last 10 hours. For the price we paid, the service was extremely poor. (Invoice 0691)

Himalaya Carpets is our family's 'go to' place for carpets, flooring and fitting. We've used their services for 30 years! More recently we browsed their warehouse last month and were able to find great carpets and flooring for our staircase, living room, dining room and hallway. Their range of stock caters for different price points. The service from Gurlita was exceptional. She really understood our requirements and advised accordingly. Yesterday's fitting was perfect and flexible to our timings.
The fitters rang ahead before arriving. Our family home has been transformed! Thank you team Himalaya!
