Was pleased that my local HiQ managed to fit me at short notice for an MOT, but very disappointed that the MOT was failed on a longstanding issue (present when I bought the car, and which had not caused failure in the five MOTs since owned it, including at the same branch of of HiQ last year). Did raise it with them, and was told it's down to the inspector's opinion, which can't be true for an issue that involves measurement. For repeat MOTs like this, might be useful for the branch to refer to previous test results on the vehicle to see if there are any issues like this

I have been going to HiQ Halton for several years ,and always received excellent service from everyone there. Nothing is too much trouble, and they go out of their way to accommodate as best as they can,even at short notice. ( A big shout out to Roy for fitting in my MOT at short notice this week !) Everything they do is delivered in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner which makes for a pleasant experience on every visit.

Fantastic service, booked in for an MOT last minute, they fit me in no problem. Communication excellent with a txt once I was booked in and a reminder txt of the appointment. Quick and easy on the day, staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Wow, what great service. I called in and asked for a favour. The day before I had suffered a puncture on my Transit Campervan. I had managed to put on the spare but needed the puncture repaired and not only did Roy agree to help, he downed tools and immediately set to work to help me. He even swapped the wheels too. Service beyond expectations is a pretty rare experience these days but in this instance it was truly outstanding. I was back on the M6 on my way to Scotland in less than half an hour. A big thank you to Roy, you made my day.

Fantastic company. I’ve used most of the local tyre companies in my area Lancaster / Morecambe and nothing comes close. Very respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would strongly recommend you use this company. Top stuff!!!

HIQ were fantastic, I spoke with Roy and I needed to amend my booking, it wasn’t an issue and he fitted me in the following day, he was very helpful! I needed 2 new tyres and within 45 mins I was back on the road again,

Had my car serviced before Xmas . I had a clutch / brake issue which due to a busy period I was unable to have dealt with at HIQ due to their being fully booked . Sadly , I had to go elsewhere . An issue was spotted and I was advised to inform HIQ. ( Halton ) I did so and this was dealt with by Joe Marshall quickly and efficiently . I was offered a refund .I declined as always take my vehicles there and another service was due this month ( February) The service was deducted from my bill . I am a strong believer in shopping local . Joe dealt with great customer service . At all times he was contactable and responded with care and empathy . An excellent garage run by real people who do not hide behind technology . Highly recommend ! Well done guys !

I was travelling on the motorway with my daughter, when a warning light appeared for loss of tyre pressure.
My daughter found HiQ Tyres at Halton on her phone and we drove straight there.
Despite being busy, a lovely gentleman came out, checked my tyre pressures and helped me reset the tyre pressure light.
