The Google Assistant integration doesn't include all of Hive's hardware, many users aren't able to use the integration and the issue has now been running for weeks and weeks. The IFTTT integration used to support motion sensors. They were removed from the integration months ago and there is no known date for their return. I believe there are similar issues with the Alexa integration but haven't tested it myself. So, If you're only interested in Hive hardware and don't mind it being locked within their ecosystem, you may find their offering acceptable. If you think you might want to integrate with other brands, I suggest you do more research before deciding to use Hive. I sure wish I'd learnt more about this before we opted for the Sensor.

Very convenient and feels safe knowing that one is alerted as soon as window or door is opened.
