It works fine but very very limited, you can schedule the on off cycle but it you wish to boost for one or two pre set hours you can't.. So you turn it on via the app but you'd better remember to turn it off as there's no boost on/off feature.. Unlike many competitors.. JM
Very easy to set up and operate automatically and, if necessary, a button is on the plug to switch on and off without opening the app. Brilliant devices to make life easier. Happy customer.

Great item but since the app is now not as good as it used to be….
I like the large manual on and off button and of course the handy phone app based schedule so I can switch lights when watching TV to the best ambient lighting.
This device works intermittently. I am now replacing all of these with a different manufacturer
