Awful venue. Spend the extra travel costs and see your band somewhere else. Rude arrogant door staff. Terrible disappointment

I write with huge disappointment.
Wish I had never booked a ticket for here.
On 10th February I emailed the Empire with a question about Suede concert.
Recieved no reply. Now I know why. A day or so later the concert was cancelled without reason.
Very poor. A let down all round.
Very shortsighted from what the rumours if why it was cancelled appear to be. Coventry lost business because of ineptitude. Cancelled my hotel and money to be spent in hospitality. Lost money on prebooked travel.
Will never trust an advert for this venue/whatever band gets advertised in the future. It obviously doesn't value it's patrons.
One of many, many let down fans.

This place is absolute trash, the seats are very uncomfortable. It’s not worth the money you pay for when you want to watch a movie, please AVOID at all costs! They don’t consider people at all, they force you to buy drinks which are extortionate prices & confiscate your own water for goodness sake. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever come across, very invasive. I do not recommend HMV empire to anyone at all.

My 17year old daughter went to a gig on the 18th Feb,says she really enjoyed it,they have security men on the door,and welfare officers who work on the night for under 18's,but they took my daughters pervisional driving licence off her,and forgot to give it back, mistakes happen,but trying to get InTouch with this company is so hard, because it doesn't open in the week,but because their advertisement is quite clear with different emails,and a phone number,you would think you'd get a answer back,but no,no one ever picks the phone up, through last week I've emailed four times rang all weekend no picked up,even went and visited,where I spoke to security guys,who went out of their to help me,but again never got back in contact,the reason for this review is my daughter has had to cancel her theory,I've lost the refund,and she's now got to wait another 6months for another date,and we've now got to wait another 6weeks for a driving licence to come back,if your a business please answer emails and phone calls,don't be ignorant,I find it so annoying when people advertise their number and email and no one gets back in contact it's just so rude,
