I have come to the point of not buying any new airplane models that you may be selling or anything for that matter that may require replacement parts eventually. These last few purchases were for a la... See more

NO NO NO they have so many bad reviews for a reason
Bought many items over the years, over 85% failed and the older parts just kept working on (from other stores)
A lot of the stuff is super cheap for a reason, it's not worth buying ten rubbish items it's best to buy one great item.
Tried to unsubscribe for a few years now, still get their spam emails.
The latest with discounts spam email. Wait....
Click all the links and the prices are FAKE all inflated and dishonest.
Their home brands do not buy, had ALL their batteries fail, and many puffed up massive.
All charged with hi-end digital chargers
The batteries I had 5-10 years older still are working fine with the two charges.
They discharge and charge and monitor the battery cells etc.

I purchased the Avios 300 3D plane and have been satisfied with it, although now it's as expensive as better quality planes from other companies. I'm very dissatisfied about the length of time Hobbyking takes to get out of stock parts.
a couple of foam parts £45, postage £40!
a couple of foam parts £45, postage £40(from china). a decal set (can be posted in envelope)£5, postage £7(and this was from UK!!!)
the days of using the excuse they come from china are gone. you can get lots of stuff for minimal postage. this is just HobbyKing ripping people off. there are plenty of genuine retailers out there. these are just grifters
Never ever again! Worst quality and customer service!
Bad build quality. Customer service is a shame! They made me wait over a week, sending multiple messages just to get the return address—only automated responses the whole time.
Worst of all: you have to pay for the return shipping yourself and only receive a coupon in return.
I will never buy from them again.
Unacceptable way to handle issues
My order arrived damaged because they put plastic and foam RC plane parts in a thin plastic bag.
After the evidence was provided they refused to issue a refund.
Want me to wait several months for them to complete some 'internal investigation' which I could not care less about.
Apparently trying to blame me for their failure to properly package the order despite charging me a notable amount for shipping.
Avoid at all costs.
quick and reliable supplier.

Dreadful scammer of a company
Dreadful scammer of a company. These people are crooks. I made a mistake on an order and immediately requested to cancel as their terms state that within 30 minutes of order is OK to cancel. They delayed the response by 3 days and told me the item was already packed so cannot cancel, which was rubbish because the order was put on hold by someone within a few moments after my email so they definitely knew. After complaining via their online operative, I was advised by an operator called Rissa to just refuse the delivery and the item would get sent back automatically and I'll be refunded. This was 2 months ago now and they say still not arrived and refuse to accept responsibility, even if the parcel is missing then that should be a problem between them and Yodel, this is not my problem. I have paid for an item and never even seen it. To top this off, after 3 days of no activity on the messenger they try to close the case down, despite the ball being in their court for a response. This is surely a breach of trading standards??

HobbyKing WARNING !
WARNING: The HobbyKing "In-Stock" Trap (Read Before You Buy)
If you are thinking about ordering a high-value RC from HobbyKing right now, don't. I just had my money held hostage for a ZD Racing MX-07, and after talking to multiple other victims and working in the logistics industry myself, I’ve possibly uncovered their exact playbook moves.
Please read this before you possibly lose your money:
The "In-Stock" & Fake courier Tracking numbers
They list a massive RC truck as "In Stock - EU/US Warehouse." You hit buy. They immediately generate a local GLS/USPS shipping label. Your order is marked "Shipped," so they can lock in your money. But if you check the tracking, it will say "Label Created - Not Yet Handed to Courier" for weeks or even months, as per other users.
The Scripted Stall Tactics
When you contact their outsourced support, they act confused. First, they tell you to "wait 2 to 3 weeks for a warehouse investigation." If you push back, the story changes to: "We need 1 to 2 months to investigate the lost parcel."
The Ocean Freight Possible Reality
There is no "investigation," and the parcel possibly isn't lost. In my opinion, they never had a car/plane/boat in your country. They drop-shipped it from China the day you ordered it. They use the 1-to-2-month "investigation" excuse because that is exactly how long it takes a cargo ship to cross the ocean.
Once the container finally arrives at the local port, they might magically message you: "Great news! We found your package!"...
To the Veterans and old-time users of HobbyKing: You might say, "I just bought from them, and it was fine!" Yes, if you order a $15 LiPo or some props, they probably have it on the shelf. But since their massive $2.8 million FCC lawsuit a few years ago and the subsequent changes in ownership/restructuring, this is NOT the same reliable HobbyKing from 2015. Do not trust them with big-ticket items, in my opinion and experience thus far.
The Bottom Line:
Did you find the Truck/Plane/Boat you want at your Local Hobby Shop for $100 more? BUY IT LOCAL. Do not make the mistake of trying to save a few bucks, because you will end up giving HobbyKing a free 60-day loan while you stare at a fake tracking number and get played like a fool by customer support every time you complain.
If you must use them for cheap parts, ALWAYS use PayPal so you can force a dispute when they inevitably try to stall you.
Stay safe out there!
